  • I agree, but I will go as far to say that Lou has one of the greatest tenor voices in bluegrass history. Just saw the Scene at Red White and Bluegrass 2010, and they are just as great as they have ever been. They never cease to amaze me. Awesome!!!!

  • Lou Reid, my favorite male singer for nearly 20 years!!!

  • Sam Bush and Lou Reid are the best singers in bluegrass, but I wouldn't say one is better than the other.

  • You failed to mention Ricky Skaggs, he has pretty much the best bluegrass harmony there ever was. Dan Tyminski has a great voice too.

  • You're right, they're all good in their own ways.

  • I'm sure everyone has their favs. Mine would be John Cowan.

  • u r right john cowan is great lou reid is also very talented.

  • john cowan is gay too

  • Russell Moore, Jamie Dailey, Del McCoury, Terry Eldridge, Larry Sparks, Ronnie Bowman, Dan Tyminski, Josh Schilling, Alison Krauss, Dave Evans just to name a few.

  • That's a pretty good list right there, I like your taste! I'd add Tim Shelton in there, and that fella from Blue Highway. It's a totally different style, but I really like Chris Stapleton's voice too.

One thing's for sure, bluegrass holds the best voices in the music industry.

  • by far the best singer in bluegrass

  • Whew! Sounding good Lou and Guys :-)
