@614jgirl i taught myself. i translate whenever i have the time to. like I'll translate lyrics to songs, news articles or the Bible, etc. i like to read in general. i read all the time so reading it is more important to me then saying it correctly. it's actually not that hard unlike reading Japanese. ^_^
@saldiamond I like dream high too. I haven't watched ep2 of paradise ranch do you think I should keep watching it. I was kind-uh disappointed in the 1st ep...
@1mits1 yeah i've only watched a part of ep 2 of paradise ranch...i was a bit disappointed in the acting/speed of the drama. i might give it another try.
You two definitely have me wanting to try Korean food now, those snacks looked good and the silverware is really cute *sidenote* I am ssooo jealous at the fact y'all are wearing shorts and short sleeves, I am FREEZING here in Chicago lbs
@1mits1 Not at all (except to see how high the snow was lol), we got like 20-something inches of snow last wk! I stayed happily inside for a few days lol, thankfully we didn't have to go shopping.
my old college room mate is asian (Vietnamese) and i used to eat that cabbage dish with her. It really does sink but its yummy too! We also used to eat those seaweed sheets by itself like they were chips! and i love those MAMA noodles, they're great.
i went to a Korean restaurant last week end and absolutely loved the food but i have yet to taste their snacks lol so how did you ladies start liking Korean food i guess i'm asking how were you exposed to Korean culture ? you ladies seems very into it
@caniela23 We watch a lot of their shows and drams. We would see what they were eating and would want to try it. So we got some balls and tried different stuff out...we were a little scared at first but it was better then we thought...
y'all are in dallas??? i didn't know that! i'm from Hurst (but more like Arlington) on our side of town it's a lot of Vietnamese shops and restaurants ima hafta check out Ko mart though :)
LUCKY! Your Korea town is all over the place but here in New York, it's like two blocks and they're mostly restaurants. I think there is a supermarket there and there was a store I bought SNSD's Gee from but then it closed soon after that. I need to find more Korean and Japanese markets. But China town is by far the biggest out of all of them. I think California has a lot more Asian stores, or THE most. Have you ever had Pocky or 빼빼로?
@zRibzyMitzy7 omg , for-real... Oh, yes I love pocky whenever we go to Akon...here in texas. I always buy the hug box of them. Why do they have to be so good. Whats your favorite flavor.
@1mits1 UGH OMGee. I love Pocky. Little sticks of heaven(unless you get Pocky G or something). But Let's see, I love the Milk, Strawberry, and Pudding ones. Well,I like Chocolate too but I don't get that one often. To be honest, I HATE the Banana Chocolate one. Just disgusting. The Berry one is okay too. My friends and I actually really want to try it with ice cream or cake like I see in some variety shows sometimes. What are YOUR favorite flavors? I have yet to try like a thousand others.
@zRibzyMitzy7 Oh, let me see... I like the chocolate with almonds as my favorite and yes the banana chocolate one is gross...lol.... Man I hope they don't have wasabi flavor, because I saw the other day wasabi flavored kitkat. Oh, shoot I want to try that berry one too that sounds kind-uh good. I'm going to have to look online for good place to buy some unique pocky flavors...
@1mits1 EW WASABI?! It'll be a mind trip if it actually tastes good. I want to taste Almond because I usually love almonds. If you find a place to buy them online please message me!
i dont want to sound ignorant or rude but how did you get so into the japanese and korean cultures? i'm jus curious that's all. those chop sticks looked so pretty though and texas looks awesome. that was a really interesting video. i would like to learn about different cultures.
@tanyfromva Oh, yes It started in junior high school ... We watched a lot of anime. Then It grow to listening to their music and watching their shows... Korean and Japanese TV and dramas are some of the best. Because of the culture differences it tends to be a lot cleaner to watch. Most people don't know because they never want to look outside of what they know as entertainment. It is easy to get into some that you truly enjoy... and me and my sister truly do...lol.
can you do more vids like this?:)
