We are thinking of getting a mini schnauzer...watching this video diffently seals the deal. Love how you can train them...they seem to be such a smart dog. Bravo on the tricks, really a joy to watch. How much time in days or weeks does it take to train on some tricks?

Yes, mini schnauzers are great little dogs, wonderful companions & lovable friends. The time needed to train a trick depends on the complexity of the trick. In general, it took about 2-3 sessions of less than 10 mins. Thanks so much for watching!

i find dogs have a better time doing tricks on carpet can be bad for there joints performing on tiles as slip dont take as critisim only suggestion. shadow is amazing and you have done an amazing job training congrats keep it up and post more please could watch him all day

It depends on your lifestyle! Both breeds are adorable, but I would say a schnauzer is more active. As to whether they bark or not, it is dependent on the individual. For example, Whisky is quiet, but Homer barks.
