ive tried to make something similar to this with vex,with the same concept as him

just instead of building a gaint box over my vex i put them on the bottom on the platforms that make him crawl (trying to make a robotic dog)

well, my robot toppled over, and his legs literaly flew off...

if you can think up any way to make a vex walk on two legs, PLEASE post a vid of it somebody, i want my own little robotic child
