I know it's at least a bit irrational considering I never so much as met Ms. Winehouse or even really listened to her music until after her death, but I've alternately felt angry at her for ending her life prematurely with volumes of alcohol and, as I do now watching this video, sad almost beyond measure because what happened to this amazing girl was just plain wrong.

I first heard of her music from an office mate, borrowed his cd, & listened to it at my desk. Another co-worker passes by & was surprised that I was listening to Amy Winehouse. She knows my cd collection is only pure classical music. This is why Amy is different from all the rest during her time. She can connect to all of us. I loved her style. Thank you.
