  • Is it a secret then???????

  • Will u be making more movies with the new sets like Raid VPR and Smash n Grab?

  • these are not the real figures! they are people with decals if you notice and look cloesly

  • Yeah... it's almost like they're prototypes.

  • I know they are but im just telling people who think these are real figures

  • @Paganomation yeah i saw tht kraanx had no white dots on his eyes like the yeal ones and his body was a bit differrend adn how did u get the backflip?

  • coool

  • Great.

  • You should of called yourself Kick Ass Animation cause your animation is unbelieveable

  • Did you make the models in the space police logs? If so can you please tell lego to make them? Because I know that would be awesome!!!

  • Thanks. I did make the models, though there are no plans for them to be released as official sets. You can find photos of the models on my MOCpages account.

  • How do you make lego men jump While running?

  • Look closely, and you'll see small transparent 1 x 1 round pieces underneath the feet of the minifigures while they're in midair.

  • ohh i see

i thought you just used masking

    lol

  • hey pls make a behind the scenes!!!

  • Thanks! Space Police behind-the-scenes is coming soon.

  • You should make a behind the scenes of Paganomation and show us the programs you use and camera you use

  • awesome

  • Did you use the transparent studs in the logs too somewhere? If so, I suppose you edited them out?

  • I'm sure I used them somewhere in the actual episodes, but I probably did a better job of hiding them than I did here.

Having character's feet off-screen when they need to do moves like this also helps.

  • so its you who made these, eh?

  • AWESOME! YOU ROCK! :D

  • Finally a smooth lego animations

  • Very nice!

  • Wait wait wait, Are you saying you made the logs or that they made the logs after looking at your tests. Why would they even need tests?

PS The bodies and legs of the minifigs just have pieces of paper stuck on them...

  • Well considering that he said the test was made in late 2008 and space police was released in 2009, it seems pretty obvious that he didn't create the test after watching the logs.

He did make the Space Police 3 Logs, and he also mentioned that they were unoffical prototype minifigures.

  • He made the logs? This video doesn't say that. It says that, "This test led to what eventually became the Space Police logs for LEGO."

Maybe his tests led to LEGO making the logs.

  • He animated the logs. I can assure you that.

  • Okay, I wasn't sure. Did he edit and voice them also?

  • I was asked by LEGO to make this test as a proof-of-concept before I went forward with working on the Space Police logs.

The figures have stickers on them because they're prototypes. If you'll notice, the Kranxx head isn't made of plastic, either -- it was made with a 3D printer. I hope this answers your questions!

  • Cool! I thought it looked odd. Did you also edit and voice them?

  • I did also edit them, but I did not do the voices.

  • Wow!

  • @Paganomation 3D Printer? What's that?

  • From Wikipedia:

"3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three dimensional object is created by successive layers of material. 3D printers are generally faster, more affordable and easier to use than other additive manufacturing technologies... Advanced 3D printing technologies yield models that closely emulate the look, feel and functionality of product prototypes."
