get 20 years of mixing experience first, the real way, (by learning how to beatmix for instance) using nothing but simple turntables and a second hand mixer. after youve learned the basics and getting good at it, then MAYBE then you could consider buying these. if your resident at a club and want your own decks, that is. if none of the above applies to you, you shouldnt buy. having top of the art shit will NEVER make you a better dj, just poorer.

That is true the loop sucks on the cdj 1000

Try it live and is gonna take forever ,with serato sl3 if u have the exactly bpm the looping is easy, the cutter fantastic it goes

From 32-16-8-4-2-1 and so on , 32 thru 2 is

Basically looping and the rest is cutter , try the cutter with a pioneer efx and u have a nice piece of effects........ Rock the night!!

I feel exactly the same way temanyada...about 8 months ago I started to get back into it with my old 1200's, but where I live there is no record shop, let alone one that sells electronic vinyl. The sheer cost of staying up to date with vinyl is outrageous. It seems crazy to spend so much money on these things, but they pay for themselves quickly. And there's a lot more you can do with them too ;)
