I liked CC's old work (Hammer Smashed Face, for example). I wasn't too pleased with Kill.

Their newest piece, Evisceration Plague, sounds nothing like their old work, but it's some of the best metal I've heard. To me it sounds like a mix of Dying Fetus and Suffocation.

And besides, Cannibal Corpse helped build death metal. You don't have to like them, you just have to realize that death metal wouldn't be what it is today without Cannibal Corpse.

Kill is a lot better than Evisceration Plague, if you ask me. Cannibal Corpse isn't famous for being anything new or exciting anyway. They have their style and the only reason everyone doesn't hate them now is because they havent changed at all.

Do you realise what it means for a band that changes their style after 20 years? It's most likely suicide for their days of 'selling' music.

Besides, there are many more bands which are superior to Nile and Suffocation too. It's all subjective.
