this seems to be the way to defeat typhoon, build a long sloping design to get underneath typhoon... then spike it lift it, axe it but this seems to be the main design principle to defeat it.
I remember typhoon pretty much ended the british robot wars series, it destroyed a couple of the arena glass panels. It was easily the most powerful robot utilising a gyroscope which generated massive kinetic energy once it was spinning at full power.
sj got under there for a second, he shoulda captilized on the fact that at low speeds he could get underneath typhoon 2, driver, what were you thoinking? you never let a spinner get up to full power...
It's true KillDozer123, Typhoon got to fix at the break while they were repairing the arena but Storm was allowed to do the same...they just didn't take the opportunity. An opportunity denied is an opportunity wasted...
SJ had it's front wheel high ended by the wedge. Control was impossible. That was last time that wedge was used iirc. Typhoon proved it could shred some metal that fight.
jesus christ how much does that shell weigh??

easy way to beat typhoon is get a robot with low ground clearance and a flipper and simply flip it over
tclol 1 year ago
@tclol yes but you would have to have a realy long robot with a realy thin tapering wedge to fet underneath it

Typhoon is a much better spin bot than Megabite will ever be. Typhoon knows how to minuver around and hit in open parts. Great job Typhoon!

BEST IDEA EVER
typhoon vs hypnodisc vs super megabyte vs another full body spinner all in at the same time

Through cheating.
Maeror2010 3 years ago
he was given a warning
Keurgui1 3 years ago
What the hell are you smoking? They let him fix himself in the middle of a fight. No warning. They let him cheat.
Maeror2010 3 years ago
You fail, you're not a Robot Wars fan and you never will be. Now go away, nobody likes you.
KillDozer123 3 years ago
The Storm boys told me themselves, by the way.

DeltaIK95 3 years ago
Storm had NO damage at that point. What was there to fix?
Typhoon'ss spinner was COMPLETELY busted!
Maeror2010 3 years ago
I'd love to feed you to Typhoon, and the Storm boys would say that wouldn't they
joerlz12 3 years ago
They're good people. They'd tell the truth.
And look at the fucking match. The only damage to Storm was the removal of an improperly welded plate.
Maeror2010 3 years ago
And the Typhoon people aren't good people? Did you ever stop to fucking ask them what THEY did?
joerlz12 3 years ago
I was at a combat event. Team Storm was there. Team Typhoon wasn't.
If I could have asked them, I would have.
Maeror2010 3 years ago
The truth is, you two, that Team Typhoon did not cheat....the PRODUCERS cheated.
KillDozer123 2 years ago
They spent the 5,000 on Aircraft equipment maybe? LOL
Headbanger142 2 years ago
@DeltaIK95 yeah but they didn't need to fix anything as Storm was working perfectly
