I don't see how the perspective of a camera diminishes the message. If anything, it keeps the viewer from getting bored with the subject matter. It's ok if you don't like it, but the consensus around the emerging filmmaker community (and a majority of viewers) is that this is exactly what more tutorials need.

gigafide, its a neat effect to be able to change the viewers plane to the plane u are working in. most people look dead on to an img and not move side to side to change which plane they are viewing in. this is why I find it so distracting. i love the ideas u present and some of them i do end up using. in past videos, the editing is more successfully. its not like u can cater to every person on YT. just b/c the majority do not have such extensive technical bakgrd, u shouldnt listen to the masses.

not true, mac's office can't use quite as many formats, especially since those are windows formats. And everybody uses windows, which is the reason there are virus problems. Why make a virus for the small group (macs) instead of the majority (windows). With the ammount of windows viruses out there I have only gotten a serious one in 10 years, and maybe 2 not very serious. If you install a good virus scanner and you don't download random files then you should be safe.

Call me paranoid if you like but I've never trusted the ideas of online storage or cloud computing.  It requires me to trust that my data will remain private even though there are copies of it out there on servers that I have no physical control over.

The ONLY way I'd ever trust anything like that is to store stuff that I've encrypted *before* uploading it.
