My favourite Big Train sketch, it was always funniest when the writers let the absurdity take over completely like this. And worst when it was trying to be Jam, or whatever it was that went wrong with series 2.

It was written by Graeme Linehan (IT Crowd, Black Books, Father Ted) & Arthur Mathews. The second series of this really lets the first one down though which is a shame. However, Simon Pegg is a genius (just look at Spaced!)

Well the second serise wasn't as good because Linehan didn't write for it. So they did use a couple of his discarded sketches.

That said I do think Linehan needs other people to work with, IT crowd was painfully unfunny at times. Still I hear their both working together again.
