guys almost every shounen anime/manga pulls some BS right on the spot but honestly i havent really seen that in onepiece because luffy is known to be like a child and it took him 10 YEARS just to master gumo gumo no pistol and his gumo gumo powers so its understandable that he would make moves up since he has the imagination of a kid, making moves shouldnt be hard at all for him cause when you think about it all he has to do is imagine doing something that involves stretching and he could do it.

One Piece as a series gives me the same awesome feeling I had as a kid reading comic books. Few things hit that sweet spot between fun, goofy, simple, yet very engaging with the right human level of drama.

I hate when people compare this to shounen series that have tons of transformations and new powers that take a few days to learn. Luffy took the entire series(over 10 years!) to learn 3 new abilities, and 2 of them utilize his fruit ability, and the other was foreshadowed way way earlier in the series and he had to train more than just a few days to learn it. At least the powers weren't pulled out of his ass every time an enemy had the upper hand.
@oMuStIiA As a matter of fact, when an enemy had the upper hand it either led to escape or defeat. There has been some instances of pulling power out of nowhere, but then it's only about stamina and willpower, not new moves and tricks.
@oMuStIiA i wouldn't go so far as compare One Piece to other anime/manga cause there's no point in that (as each anime/manga brings its own uniqueness to the table.) But more like a comparison of luffy to other protagonist of their respected series (which is exceptable) I mean Luffy has performed techniques on the spot too just like or in some cases unlike other mainstream protagonist. also Luffy tends to be weaker then his later opponents compared to other heroes.
@Vasro1 He hasn't made up techniques on the spot so much as come up with something that utilizes his rubber powers, or made up something because he thought it would be fun/cool, which suits his personality. And I'm glad Luffy is weaker than his foes compared to other heroes, because that's a lot more interesting. Like the old snake lady said, "you are an ant jumping in to a storm". I mostly have these complaints with Bleach or KHR, because they have soooo many power-ups all at once.
@oMuStIiA while i agree that Luffy being weaker then his foes is a good thing He also doesn't truly get stronger until the timeskip which is a bit sad (although understandable.) but on a lesser note, Bleach doesn't really have many "power-ups" I mean you got Shikai, Bankai, Full-bring, Ressurection and that pretty much sums it up (or at least the notable ones) Luffy as well as some other characters have has power-up techniques as well within the One-Piece series too.

I used to love Bleach but I didn't like all the new abilities. Hollow, super hollow, buff hollow, getsuga, final getsuga, hollow ichigo, the fused hichigo with Zangetsu, his sword looks like a cleaver, bankai new sword look, he looks older, fullbring different sword again, etc.
@oMuStIiA Aizen's transformation was more drawn out then your traditional power-up tranformation like in say the dragon ball franchise. and for the record One Piece does have more "power-ups" then bleach, all fruit powers serve as power-ups to the characters in the show and there are so many that there are 3-classes of them, and 1 class is literally just transformation fruit which powers up the user. so if your miffed bout power ups then why watch one-piece?

Power ups are when a character suddenly gains a new ability part way through the story, that they didn't previously have. If Aizen's transformations were drawn out, then I'm a monkey's uncle. He went from Normal Aizen, to paper bag Aizen, to black eyed long haired Aizen, to butterfly Aizen, to weird Orochi hollow Aizen, in the space of maybe 20 chapters or less.

@Saruko9d9 It explains in the show that uses his legs as pumps to circulate the blood in his body faster, basically giving his system a boost. This puts a lot of strain on his body. It doesn't exactly require training to do that. So not only does this power make sense with his rubber powers, but it has a catch. That makes it a lot more realistic and interesting.
@Saruko9d9 He first learned it one of the movies when the villain tries to crush him under a giant weight. The force of impact caused his legs to pump, he didn't know what it was at the time, and he began training the ability on his way to Einess lobby. Luffy has been using the same two power ups Gear 2 and 3 for a long time, and they BOTH have a drawback to using them. And even with these transformations, he's gotten his ass kicked several times.

yeah and basically meaning the end of the series. Thinking it is shonen meaning that the CLIMAX is a FIGHT. a FINAL FIGHT!!! FINAL. So basically if the climax is close the end is close. After the climax is the falling action which is events that happen after the climax ,usually wrap up the story and lead to the conclusion,sometimes the falling action is almost non-existent because the conclusion occurs immediately after the climax. So there you have it naruto is near its END.

guys almost every shounen anime/manga pulls some BS right on the spot but honestly i havent really seen that in onepiece because luffy is known to be like a child and it took him 10 YEARS just to master gumo gumo no pistol and his gumo gumo powers so its understandable that he would make moves up since he has the imagination of a kid, making moves shouldnt be hard at all for him cause when you think about it all he has to do is imagine doing something that involves stretching and he could do it.

One Piece as a series gives me the same awesome feeling I had as a kid reading comic books. Few things hit that sweet spot between fun, goofy, simple, yet very engaging with the right human level of drama.

I hate when people compare this to shounen series that have tons of transformations and new powers that take a few days to learn. Luffy took the entire series(over 10 years!) to learn 3 new abilities, and 2 of them utilize his fruit ability, and the other was foreshadowed way way earlier in the series and he had to train more than just a few days to learn it. At least the powers weren't pulled out of his ass every time an enemy had the upper hand.

@oMuStIiA As a matter of fact, when an enemy had the upper hand it either led to escape or defeat. There has been some instances of pulling power out of nowhere, but then it's only about stamina and willpower, not new moves and tricks.

@oMuStIiA i wouldn't go so far as compare One Piece to other anime/manga cause there's no point in that (as each anime/manga brings its own uniqueness to the table.) But more like a comparison of luffy to other protagonist of their respected series (which is exceptable) I mean Luffy has performed techniques on the spot too just like or in some cases unlike other mainstream protagonist. also Luffy tends to be weaker then his later opponents compared to other heroes.

@Vasro1 He hasn't made up techniques on the spot so much as come up with something that utilizes his rubber powers, or made up something because he thought it would be fun/cool, which suits his personality. And I'm glad Luffy is weaker than his foes compared to other heroes, because that's a lot more interesting. Like the old snake lady said, "you are an ant jumping in to a storm". I mostly have these complaints with Bleach or KHR, because they have soooo many power-ups all at once.

@oMuStIiA while i agree that Luffy being weaker then his foes is a good thing He also doesn't truly get stronger until the timeskip which is a bit sad (although understandable.) but on a lesser note, Bleach doesn't really have many "power-ups" I mean you got Shikai, Bankai, Full-bring, Ressurection and that pretty much sums it up (or at least the notable ones) Luffy as well as some other characters have has power-up techniques as well within the One-Piece series too.

@oMuStIiA Aizen's transformation was more drawn out then your traditional power-up tranformation like in say the dragon ball franchise. and for the record One Piece does have more "power-ups" then bleach, all fruit powers serve as power-ups to the characters in the show and there are so many that there are 3-classes of them, and 1 class is literally just transformation fruit which powers up the user. so if your miffed bout power ups then why watch one-piece?

@Vasro1 The fruits aren't power ups, they're what give them the ability in the first place. Power ups are when a character suddenly gains a new ability part way through the story, that they didn't previously have. If Aizen's transformations were drawn out, then I'm a monkey's uncle. He went from Normal Aizen, to paper bag Aizen, to black eyed long haired Aizen, to butterfly Aizen, to weird Orochi hollow Aizen, in the space of maybe 20 chapters or less.

@Saruko9d9 It explains in the show that uses his legs as pumps to circulate the blood in his body faster, basically giving his system a boost. This puts a lot of strain on his body. It doesn't exactly require training to do that. So not only does this power make sense with his rubber powers, but it has a catch. That makes it a lot more realistic and interesting.

The force of impact caused his legs to pump, he didn't know what it was at the time, and he began training the ability on his way to Einess lobby. Luffy has been using the same two power ups Gear 2 and 3 for a long time, and they BOTH have a drawback to using them. And even with these transformations, he's gotten his ass kicked several times.

yeah and basically meaning the end of the series. Thinking it is shonen meaning that the CLIMAX is a FIGHT. a FINAL FIGHT!!! FINAL. So basically if the climax is close the end is close. After the climax is the falling action which is events that happen after the climax ,usually wrap up the story and lead to the conclusion,sometimes the falling action is almost non-existent because the conclusion occurs immediately after the climax. So there you have it naruto is near its END.

Naruto Kyuubi, Luffy Gear and Ichigo Mugetsu are tottaly epic and strong on they own way, you can't compare them, and as they are never going to fight each other, speculations about witch one is the stronger are simply pathetic and useless.
