  • Overall, for whatever reason, Fernando (in this production) makes me feel that he is a real punk. Belongs in a pool hall.

  • Who's singing Ferrando here?

  • @AliceBaudelaire Tophi Lehtipuu ;)

  • Thank you for posting this!

  • Thanks a lot! This seems to have been quite a production. Wow...

  • It could be better if Pisaroni sings Guglielmo...but Boesch is a great singer too =)

  • Haha, well I was thinking the same thing :)

  • I was thinking so too!!! ^^

  • I agree with you ;)

I was thinking... Guth has, by chance, read the libretto?

  • In some parts, it seems like he has...but not in others. Which is a pretty big improvement over some other productions!

  • I have Pisaroni's version on DVD at Glyndebourne, he's amazing!!!!!! I also love Simon Keelnyside's performance of this. Topi is a great Ferrando. He and Miah have improved since Glyndebourne 2006 I think!!

  • I completely agree with you, I always thought that he was really the "weakest" part of this production (which is otherwise still my fave, great staging!), but I liked him very much here.
