@xMIDORIxUSAGIx Hey, thanks! I'm glad it inspired you to make your own. :) Before you start, though, you should come up with an idea that's as original as possible. (You can do a search to see if it's already taken.) Now, if you see an idea that's already been done, but that you think you could do better, that's a different story. You can make great AMVs with simple editing techniques. If you have any specific questions, I'd be more than happy to help. :)

@xMIDORIxUSAGIx I used Final Cut Express to edit it, and I used HandBrake to rip footage from the Azumanga Daioh DVDs.

@xMIDORIxUSAGIx I don't always keep track of time, but I'd estimate between 4-6 hours for this one, although a video like this can take me anywhere up to 24 hours total or even more. Since you're just starting out, I wouldn't worry too much about taking that long to make a clip, especially if it's complex. Naturally you'll get faster the more you edit, but even pros can take a long time to make these.

let me guess you got your clips from DVDs and you recorded it with a capter card from a porteable DVD player you can tell because all the lines look like little blocks on HQ.

@1megasnorlax1 I ripped the footage using the built-in DVD drive and Handbrake. I think the blockiness is an attempt by YouTube to de-interlace the footage, which I tried to do many times myself.

When I was at AWA, I seriously wanted to start singing and dancing to this......but then I realized that I had forgotten most of the words and almost all of the dance the moves. LOL

Anyway, this is a really fun AMV. It fits perfectly, and you did a great job editing it. 5/5

You gotta stand out. Very good video, but, like I said in your other video, try to sync the lips to the voice. If you did already, I would suggest photoshop and cut out the lips, and sync them to the voice with after effects. That's what I did with my "Look at it, It's Ugly" video.

I see. I realize it's not perfect, but the way I see it, lip-syncing in anime is stylized enough so that it doesn't have to match perfectly as long as it gets the point across. Still, I appreciate your input and I'll keep that in mind for future projects.
