Amazing, the old dudes owned it in their own way, (not forgetting the rhythm section). The same tight but loose feel of the old daze, too. Got the blood pumping and the foot going, yeehaa!
@mrcjwolfe Ok, that does it! I am so behind the times and I don't understand the latest in modern day slang/lingo. Do ya like it or don't ya? YES or NO will do just fine. Thanks
oh well, cream could have always blew led zeppelin off the stage if they got back together in the 70s and eric would have went back to his gibson insteatd of the fender, 66-67 cream was tighter than zeppelin ever where, and clapton with his woman tone, daaamn, probably the greatest ever, and since jimmy took the tone eric invented on bluesbreakers with eric clapton (distorted gibson trough cranked up marshalls) he owes him a lot.
yeah, Michael Lee . Most humble character behind the drum kit. Great man, pure naturality, unforgettable. I love Page and Plant era most. It´s more deeper, more mature, talking more about lifetime
I enjoy Micheal Lee but that snare sound out of place, maybe it was over-amplified or something..

Who cares whether or not Cream did Robert Johnson's song better than Plant & Page? I'm just glad they both did it!

This was a good cover in their own style but IMO the Cream live version is slightly better - Lee's drumming was ok but not great.

@Orion579
come ooon, slighty?
it's one of the greatest live performances ever, this here is an ok cover, too short, and nothing beats cream claptons woman tone.
and on this song, well, i actually prefer claptons vocals, they just fit the song better.
