  • Is the car in the video a Corsa Chevrolet or an Opel Corsa?

  • How do you change the side lights?!?! HELP PLEASE!!! :(

  • Thanks batman - scary job made easy - took me about 5 minutes from start to finish (luckily it was the passenger side bulb which needed changing). Just need to work out how to do the sidelight bulb now!

  • Hi guys, I have a Corsa C, and its an absolute bitch to replace the original lights on the front right side of the car (if you're standing in front of the lights) and i cant seem to replace the metal clip, the whole things just come off, any suggestions for my retardedness would be greatly appreciated! :P

  • @LukePhBell I have the same problem, but mine is on the drivers side. Did you manage to get the metal bulb clip back on? I have no idea on how to do it, due to the fact I cant see deep enough inside

  • @ReeceRJD I ended up having to take the whole bumper off, but we did it again with my friends car and just wiggled it about a lot, after all this time, we realised that it should just slot nicely into place if you find the home for the clip.. its basically a paper clip if you think about it.. just a f**king fiddly one is all.. sorry if i haven't been all that helpful, hope you figure it out somehow..

  • @LukePhBell yh it doesn't surprise me that you had to take the bumper off mate lol. I managed to do it eventually, by feeling around the light on the other side to see how that clip was fixed. cheers for your reply tho anyway mate.

  • @ReeceRJD Yeah man no worries.. And who knows, maybe one day people will catch on and make these sort of things easier ;)

  • @LukePhBell

Haha yeah, maybe one day! lol

  • better idea! change the car! hehe

  • my mother has a 2009 corsa on a '59' plate, and the right hand side brake bulb is out. we have the bulb, but when we pull out the plastic panel, theres a tool-kit in the way, we can take the tools out, but cannot get the tool holder out. please help!

  • @rallyandmotorcross dont worry now, we've figured it out, good video too, im doing this on my mates car now. haha

  • cheers mate!

  • Just a bit of advice the right hand bulb is harder to replace as the air filter box is in the way and you may need to remove the pipe going into the air filter to allow easier access. also if you have problems removing the wiring harness iv found that using pliers or something similar helps.

  • thanks it worked! I was stressing almost went to rip that metal catch thingy off lol!

  • very helpful. hope mine is as easy

  • Hopefully this will be similar in a Corsa C. I will try soon

  • Just want to say a huge Thank You. You just saved me the major embarrassment of crawling back to Halfords!!! It was a lot trickier doing the driver's side, but I managed them both eventually. Many thanks.

  • its deffinately easier to remove the headlight casing using a socket set, that gives you much more room to remove the wires etc. good vid

  • thank you!

  • my rear wires wont come out of the back of the headlight. they seem very stiff....is there a knack?

  • hi there,

can you please show us how to change the brake light too

    nader

  • thanks for the clip, i'm about to try to do this myself. shame you can't find any user manual on official sites of Opel...
