It's a Powerglide. Powerglide has only either 2 or 3 gears. Usually the street/strip cars will use the 3 speed, and the strip only cars will use the 3 speed.

This car has got a BMW M5 E34 Straight 6 engine (As some of you might know, it´s the one that the old M5 had). It is powered with two huge turbos. The chassi and body is the original M3, modified to endure the forces involved in dragracing. So, it is a real beemer, belive it or not. PS this was their second run with the car and they had not everything set up correctly. You´ll see in a while... This will break 6 second for sure
