Hey! Have you heard about - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some super things about it and my friend got great 6 pack abs and lost a truck load of of fat with it.
First-time car buyer, still in the market but the top of my list is the 2011/2012 (depending on what's in stock) Elantra. Thanks very much for posting ! Seems like the biggest factor in snow-driving is driver assertiveness and the tires.
@ladyyuna2000 if you enjoy driving, this thing drives pretty poorly...it's reasonably quiet and comfortable and perfectly fine for just getting around, but the handling is sloppy and it has poor body and ride control in the corners
It's the tires. I have a GLS and the tires suck. Got new tires and no problems. I drove through a blizzard and had no problems. I guess it has a lot to do with your driving experience.
@melinavarro92243 it's ABS, not EBS...anyways, ABS is the anti-lock brake system. There is a wheel speed sensor at each wheel, if the system senses that the wheels are spinning at different speed when you apply the brakes (wheel lock up), then the system will release pressure to that wheel. This happens many times per second, thus the wheels don't lock up and it allows for you to steer the vehicle and it also improves directional braking stability. That rapid pulsing noise you hear is the ABS
@2000mercurysable yes, minor software glitch, everything's fine though...we got it back after they replaced the throttle body connector and terminals under warranty
