Last year I did a detox. It took t\wo weeks. It involved a couple of different herbal pills. I had to drink 64 ounces a day of vegetable juice from my juicer. During the 3 day fast, I had to drink almost a gallon a day. Topped it off with colonics 3 days at the end. The results...I lost 15 pounds and flattened out my stomach. If you don't get the results you want doing what you are doing, I HIGHLY recommend colonics and juicing.
I've been contemplating a spring cleanse myself but have yet to pull the trigger. I've done 7-10 day stretches of raw food cleanses before with amazing results. The best results were achieved through fresh juices, fruits and leafy greens only with little to no nuts, seeds or dehydrated foods. The craving for cooked starts to come on strong after a solid week as you actually start feeling "too good" and need to reground yourself.
I did the Master Cleanse last year but only lasted a few days. I got terrible headaches. Good luck with the raw food cleanse. I'd like to try that one.
I'm a raw vegan myself, and I would suggest for detox green vegetable juice is very helpful. When you're green inside, you're clean inside is how the saying goes. Also greens are the most alkalizing thing. Trying to do as much juices and smoothies during the time as you can will accelerate detox. There are many things that can be done to speed up or slow down detox depending on what you can handle.
Green Juice recipe (my own invention - I am a chef by trade) Quantities are approx: 500 ml water, 1 garlic clove, big handful of baby spinach, 1 avocado, 1 bell pepper - green, 2 sticks of celery, 1/2 teaspoon himalayan chrystal salt or sea salt, 1/4 cup EV olive oil or other good oil like walnut, 1/2 cucumber - remove bitter end. 3 spring onions. Roughly chop the big things before liquidizing. Tried it myself and it was amazing! Enjoy! Colin Proctor
I can relate in a way that I love to eat and coffee is usually the first consumable that greets me in the morning, lol. I wish you the best with this. Let us know how it turns out.
i did a 30 day water fast this summer and I was able to do it by taking one day at a time, not focusing on the whole amount of time at once, hope this helps you.
interesting "concept" what is RAW? do you have to keep your food out of the sun? A Course in Miracles says we do not need any "special foods" and the body will remain healthy and fit so long as the mind has use for it. Try a 2 day thought "detox" ...change your mind...and change your world!
I did the master cleanse a few weeks ago. I love water fasting as well. Sometimes I can go for 30 days on a cleanse. Sometimes, I don't make it for two. I think it depends on my state of mind in those times.
I am keeping up with you Katie! What happened to Jonathan's channel?

i just drink tea made from the "Scutellaria Barbata" chinese herb;
it acts as a detox, anti-cancer, and antioxidant, it also cures diabetes and a whole bunch of other stuff;
its only 8 dollars a pound which lasts me a whole year;
you cant overdose on it; i drink it like its tea or coffee

Eat and drink plenty of green leaf foods. Get your PH level in a good range.
