  • Hmmm you've done some good 'painting by numbers stuff' here, but seeing as you are a teacher I'm not convinced by the string bending on all of your vids.

  • john.your phrasing variation from1:10 to 1:16 was sweet as hell.that rake you threw in there very cool man.i always attemp to play that strict cause im a style junkie.hendrix to becker.very cool way to incorporate.vikings another great one on marching out.peace

  • gustavo guerra has better tone and skill ever

  • Great Job there, Yngwie is one of my top 3 favs!

To those who reply with negative comments, step up, let's see you do it.

  • Best one yet!

  • hey dude ur so good great playing man im goona try to learn this one off of you video if you dont mind..... itll be very tough but im sure ill get it

  • Awesome performance!!!

    Great talent.

  • It amazes me the amount of losers out there that offer their lame unfriendly advice to guitar players the have obviously put a huge amount of work in. Its easy to criticize we all know that, it not so easy to post up a guitar piece by one of the most technical guitarist there is.

  • nice job! i'd like to see the "guitar" players out there try playing anything by malmsteen.his stuff is a bitch to play! i thought you did an excellent job man! keep it up!

  • i agree with the timing comment, but overall, very well done!

  • Ask for a metronome for Christmas dude... You got some good speed but your timing is shot.

  • Nice ;) But get a new guitar :o hate that guitar is so ugly :S

  • @scariness98 whocares what the guitar looks like its how it plays... you're the perfect definition of a poseur

  • si as tocado las notas parecidas al disco pero te falta lo mas imporrtante VIBRATO sin eso no suena a malmsteen pero bien

    sigue practicando q lo conseguiras

  • He'll change from those 16th note triplets to 9 in time of 8 quavers because he is a natural genius whose phrasing level of improv has never been seen before!I encourage anyone to go to music school and study complicated rhyhms and sightreading so they can listen and follow with the music in front of them. Real musicians are not DJ's!

  • 6/10- u need t work on that vibrato more,..u have the solo down, but no where close to yngwie

  • killer solo!!

    well done!

  • 1. Awe yea, I had a flash of insight while I watched your vid.

    2. Excellent !

  • dude wath is the mode of the first solo part i want to learn it

  • probably E phrygian, he plays alot of solos in that key, or phrygian dominant

  • lol

  • amazing very good;)

    thats a lot of practise;)

  • Good! But you should try to work on your vibrato! That's the thing that makes Yngwie Special. As you can see, anyone can play fast!

  • yeah yngwie's vibrato is fuckin mental, when he slides up to them crazy notes with that mental vibrato evryoen is liek wtf o_O

  • Very nice!!

  • damn good! check out my take on the pedal point lick please

  • Amazing!

  • Awesome dude you rocks!!

  • that was good, but had really poor timing.

  • No it didnt

  • hmm. first post didn't go. Anyways, the playing is good but I think the timing is off also. There are sections where there's a clear gap between his playing and what we hear from the cd playing in the background.

  • Absolutely pal... as u can see, not anyone is able to listen to those flaws, we are though... congrats to those who listened to those timing flaws cos u've all got good musician ear.. and so have I lol

  • Yngwie Malmsteen is one of the best three phrasers in shred guitar. Most top players(shredders) write the solos and memorise them. Yngwie is the holy grail for sight readers. Beat by beat he changes from 16th note triplets(standard shred) to 5 in the time of 4 16ths (=slowing down weidness/almost unique rhythm).

  • GREAT VERY CLEAN

  • Nice! You shred dude!

  • 'i'll see the light...tonight'

    Great playing

    I love watching your videos
