u must not have what is offered by most businesses. most people who have health insurance are under insured one major health problem will put u in debt for the rest of ur life..those who can afford the BEST health insurance r ok.. when I was paying for my own PPO health insurance I had a deductible of $1800 then the insurance would pay 100% no co-pays so it was excellent as insurance goes but it was expensive and the premiums went up every year tripling in 6 yrs. 45 million have NO insurance

First, I am Progressive, that is I believe in fulfilling Jefferson's ideals of republican democracy with Hamilton's means (national banking, national development, promoting the general welfare of society). Actually C02 is just as deadly to critters as carbon monoxide. The debate about C02 affecting climate change occured in the early 1980s when it was refered to as "The Greenhouse Affect". A lot of people had a hard time believing that the earth was not flat but as our knowledge increased it became self evident. We have reached that point concerning carbon emmisions and the melting glaciers.
Actually, plant life feeds on CO2, they transform this into the air we breath...those that have greenhouses understand this, which is why it is sometimes pumped in. The 'debate' as you put it is not the way to determine scientific law and principle - there is no proof what-so-ever that what man breaths out, animals breath out, volcanoes spue forth and so on - in the form of CO2 is at any levels harmful to man nor at any levels enough to cause climate change - here or on Mars.
There is however empiracal and historic evidence of climate change throughout the history of the world. The Ice ages for example, as well as the mini-ice age prior to 1950s, the temporary warming 1950-1990s, and the cooling happening now - or the warm period during the middle ages - are natural to Earth, not man caused, and a part of sustainability for the planet. CO2 is not a pollutant, most scientists and especially climatologists are against the nonsense..focus on real pollution - not CO2.

What I like about science is that it is precise, there is is a method, and what you state does not pass this test period. u must not have what is offered by most businesses. most people who have health insurance are under insured one major health problem will put u in debt for the rest of ur life..those who can afford the BEST health insurance r ok.. when I was paying for my own PPO health insurance I had a deductible of $1800 then the insurance would pay 100% no co-pays so it was excellent as insurance goes but it was expensive and the premiums went up every year tripling in 6 yrs. 45 million have NO insurance

On the issue of healt, the republicans have been wining over change ever since socal security in the 1930s. The republicans were against that, medicare and the attempt at health care reform in the 90s. That's horrible that the government does not let the insurance companies compete across the state lines and doctors are forbidden by the government to offer lower prices to Medicare patients. So many people die because US government does not allow free market competition in healthcare. And now they are gonna go into hc even more. Horrible. Go tea baggers! Don't let this become Cuba!

How does funding Mujaheddin classify as a failure? It prevented Soviet expansion in Afghanistan, and caused a power struggle in Afghanistan that kept them week after the US cut off funding to them.
Instead, Bill Clinton needs to be run out on a rail for directly funding the Taliban in order to create a stable Afghanistan for his oil pipeline..
And for the record, as much as I hate the 'trillion dollar tax cuts' (an overinflated statement), they did in fact help revive the economy after 9/11.

We should encourage them to develop their industry as we should - If one of our companies wishes to sell in China, so be it, but they should do so under contract with a Chinese corporation, owned by Chinese citizens - and if Chinese companies wish to sell here, so be it, but they should make it here as they do there, under contract with American owned companies - both develop, both prosper. Lets compete for Mars instead.

That said, you've not read my comments through...Although protectionism (44% tariffs) works by historic standards; it is in a me vs them world that I do not believe in - rather I advocate Fair Trade - either full reciprocity (theirs equals ours for revenue only plus adjustments for labor rates to ensure no unfair competition from pauper labor rates) or better yet 'national assembly' in all nations, make it there to sell it there, here here...full trade in resources, ideas, franchises..Develop!!!

Free trade is another theory that has been disproven...it decimated the British Empire, and it has wreaked havoc on our Nation. It wastes fuel transporting goods from shore to shore in slow ships, and is a way for multinationals to get around labor laws meant to protect citizens from harm. There is no comparative advatage, except in natural resources, and no need to trade, except in ideas and inventions. Children should expect to inherit their industry in all countries.

First, I am Progressive, that is I believe in fulfilling Jefferson's ideals of republican democracy with Hamilton's means (national banking, national development, promoting the general welfare of society). Man may or may NOT be responsible for climate change, but you can NOT deny that man is contributing to it. Polar Ice=DISAPPEARING,Glaciers=DISAPPEARING, Rain Forest Disappearing, WHY? Wouldn't it be more prudent to err on the side of less harm? BTW, you may think CO2 is NOT a pollutant, it might not be like radiation, but here is a little experiment you can do. Put a plastic bag over your head and breathe, when or IF the Paramedics revive you get back to us about how harmless CO2 is.

Actually C02 is just as deadly to critters as carbon monoxide. The debate about C02 affecting climate change occured in the early 1980s when it was refered to as "The Greenhouse Affect". A lot of people had a hard time believing that the earth was not flat but as our knowledge increased it became self evident. We have reached that point concerning carbon emmisions and the melting glaciers.

Actually, plant life feeds on CO2, they transform this into the air we breath...those that have greenhouses understand this, which is why it is sometimes pumped in. The 'debate' as you put it is not the way to determine scientific law and principle - there is no proof what-so-ever that what man breaths out, animals breath out, volcanoes spue forth and so on - in the form of CO2 is at any levels harmful to man nor at any levels enough to cause climate change - here or on Mars.

The Ice ages for example, as well as the mini-ice age prior to 1950s, the temporary warming 1950-1990s, and the cooling happening now - or the warm period during the middle ages - are natural to Earth, not man caused, and a part of sustainability for the planet. CO2 is not a pollutant, most scientists and especially climatologists are against the nonsense..focus on real pollution - not CO2.

lol....the difference here my friend is that the Church opposed Copernicus and Gallilleo due to religious reasons and not based on credible science. What I like about science is that it is precise, there is is a method, and what you state does not pass this test period. It is true that CO2 emission in a confined space like the Space Station can be harmful and deadly - but that is a far stretch from claiming that CO2 produced by man is the reason for Mars, Venus, Earth polar melting or change.

Progressive Elites strive to create a world habitat in which they will thrive yet is extremely dangerous for average people. 'progressive elites' - give me a break. American ideals (Equality of man, life, liberty for all, pursuit of happiness, government of by for the people, democracy rather than aristocracy or other tyrannies, a Bill of Rights to protect the individual in a democracy etc.) are Progressive for their time and ours - Progressivism is Americas answer to the socialism of Europe which was a reaction against free market nonsense. Lincoln to Roosevelt (GOP) then Wilson to Johnson (Dems) was progressive.

How are the views expressed in the video "extreme". There is no such thing as "both extremes". While the Left had an extreme in the 60s and 70s, there is no extreme Left to speak of in America. But there is a very strong extreme Right.
So stop the false equivalency. On the one hand, you have a very moderate Left wing, on the other a very extreme Right wing.
