This will be my first Thanksgiving without turkey and I am planning on eating all the usual things except for the turkey, gravy and stuffing. You can really eat everything else such as, pies, rolls, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, salad and the list goes on and on so I'm not worried about it. No need to harm a living thing just for my selfish needs.
Well I have been a vegetarian since the 11th grade I graduated high school this year in may but anyway I have some ideas for food listed below. 1. mashed potatoes 2. mac and cheese 3. diced potatoes 4. tofurky 5. rolls 6. corn bread 7. deviled eggs 8. green beans 9. peas 10. pumpkin pie 11. apple pie
I am not crazy about Tofurkey so I skip it. I make traditional stuffing (with veg stock), candied yams (with marshmallow cream marshmallows have gelatin), mashed potatoes, gravy, lots of veggie dishes and, of course, pumpkin pie. Everything my family has traditionally eaten minus chicken/turkey stock and dead animals.
And as a response to 6668apple: Human canine teeth have been shrinking with evolution that is only perfection if we are evolving into herbivores, which we are.
how about...wait for yours to drop and eat a bird.those teeth that your species have been perfecting for 2.5million years are going to waste where all the veggies will go when we run out of cows.you all are next and damn do we have technique and the willingness to survive.
tofurkey can be edible if cooked well. You can find tofurkey or something similar at any natural food store. If it's just you I wouldn't by the whole dinner ensamble. Just get the fake meat.
TOFURKEY is the shit. plus mashed potatos, the stuffing thats in the tofurkey, cranberry sauce and pie. perfect veggie thanksgiving. im vegan and thanksgiving is still a very good day for me.
Yep! "Tofurky" is the ultimate sacrifice. If you like that stuff....you're 90% there. The only vegetarian that eats with us on Thanksgiving day will not touch Tofurky. My other 20 to 30 guest demand the "real thing" and I will be cooking five 22 lb birds. I'm looking forward to the days after Thanksgiving...turkey sanwiches, turkey taco's, turkey, turkey, turkey.
I've been a vegetarian on and off for about 10 years now. My family didn't support my decision so I always had the veggies and such to fill my tummy on my veggie holidays w/them but if you want that turkey in yer life...TOFURKY is the way to go. There's also fake ham which I enjoy on my scallion pancakes from Sentosa's [reg. & veggie Chinese place] in Brick...but I would do a little research and see what fits you. Not everyone likes the substitutes, esp. if yer not used to them.
I heard tofurky is really good and tastes exactly like a turkey, you can also make a vegetarian stuffing! You are an inspiration.

Honestly mike, fake meat usually sucks.lol
Ive tried most of it.
But not tofurkey, so you might have something there(:.
But just spend more time on the other stuff making it more of a big deal.
Thats what i always do.
But anyways good job on all the videos.
And keep doing it, and more and more people will watch.
love you.(:
