I saw this keyboard for five dollars at a goodwill a while back. Needless to say I picked it up despite it not having the usb receiver. I called HP to see if it was possible to replace the receiver and they said you need to buy a whole new keyboard. second opinion??

@mwvolkma Search ebay or google maybe you can find a spare usb. The model number on my usb is RX713A. Hope this helps.

I just got one of these, coming from a similar Logitech slim keyboard. Wired. It had a problem always of small dirt gettin under the keys and making them work. So I need to press them pretty hard today. I'm getting tired of it. Definitely didn't have the media controls. Finally I broke a key trying to clean under it. So, new brand but similar keyboard. I may post here how it is.

got one today but it seems to not connect to the reciever at all it wont type and the recievers led wont blink when i press connect button, can anyone help?

@desertfox3638 Try replacing the batteries or get closer to the usb and test it. If its still not working then return it for another : )

Looks very nice, kinda like a black PC edition of the Apple Aluminium keyboard. And yes I HATE those crappy arm rests, even worse when they embed it into the keyboard so you can't remove it.

Yeah. For some reason though, they said it won't ship for like another 10 days, which means that, with standard shipping, they're telling me it will take 2 weeks to get here. I really hope it doesn't take them (Amazon) that long to get me my keyboard.

I love this keyboard. Ive used it the past couple months and it was awesome. Unfortunately my 2 year old got a hold of it when i forgot to put it out of his reach and he pretty much destroyed it, which is tough to do considering how well made this kb is.

ok so i play lots of bf and i was wondering if this would work with it and other games. in other words can 3 keys or more be depredded and have all three respond in a gAME OR ANYTHING ELSE?? thx a lot

yea its pretty good for gaming.....i play alot of L4D and other shooters which require fast reaction times and this keyboard has nice response. the keys respond well when depressed. i havnt gotten any lag so far

@mcdouggy none.....iv played L4D, L4D2, Bioshock, Crysis, COD Modern warfare2, Bioshock2, dead space.....etc and havent had lag. Only replaced the batteries once since I got it. If you are getting lag, it could be due to the USB not being in range. thats the only thing i can think of that could result in lag
