Yes for koomran's point, when I met older martial artists that had 'boxing' experience they made me see the traditional stances totally differently. Sparring vids must be tough because you have to make evident your details while trying to mix it up. I found that's why in traditional Chinese fighting videos oft-times don't do justice to what it feels like to get eatin' up by a specialist. You said Durante but who was the first guy you imitated I wanted to search video?'
yo your foot work is horrible you sounded like yu knew what u were doin but when you started i relized that yu are horrible you posture is horrible and you stance is garb ha
PEACE LYTE I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS, FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO SAY YOU ARE BETTER THAN ME IN RESPECT OF YOUR CRAFT, THE ONE LITTLE MISTAKE I SEE IN THIS VIDEO YOUR FEET ARE ON THE INSIDE OF HIS AND OFCOURSE YOU KNOW THIS WOULD GIVE HIM AN AVANTAGE IN THE RING ALSO ALOT OF TIMES YOU CIRCLED RIGHT INTO HIS POWER. ONCE AGIAN NO DISREPECT YOU APPLY AND PRATICE YOUR ART AND I DON'T WANT TO SOUND LIKE SOME KEYBOARD WARRIOR, AS ALWAYS GOOD VIDEO.
@illone10 thanks for the comment...but when sparring or fighting its about getting in and out...so there are times when your feet are inside and outside his power range...since you have to move around that could easily be changed... now if we were fighting in one spot and not moving then standing in his power range and not moving could be a problem...once again thanks for watching..LGD
Hey LGD! This is another great vid. When ever I hear cats on the streets talking 52 blocks I tell them to look you up. I like what you are doing. On the real!! Keep up the 52 blocks movement.
I like this a lot.Im going to break it down so I can explain it.The James Toney footwork has elements of Jersey Joe with what some people call the "wrong" foot moving first LGD
my coach yells at me when i switch my feet up ... but yall embrace it lol!
very good reaction speed too btw. there's a lot going on in there besides just footwork ... a lot to watch for. i fav'd this vid. and as always, thank you for sharing sir.
