I own this car and I just made an account to clarify the details.
The run was 14.14561 @ 95.96 mph.
0-60ft was 1.973 with a reaction of 0.94788
The car is a 1990 MR2 with 3.0L V6 Camry engine from a '93 model with 153k miles on it! One off y-pipe - no cat, 17deg BTDC timing. Standard silencer, g-box and clutch.
The other car was a Volvo T5 turbo (2.5litre turbo engine), which ran a 15.26300 @ 95.57 mph.
2750rpm is usually my preferred launch but depends on the conditions

Just curious but what's the best RPM to launch MR2? Since there's so much weight in the rear, I'm just afraid of breaking my axles.

I still have the stock 3VZ-FE in my 1993 Camry. It's almost at 200,000 miles, and still runs great. BTW, what was the time?

14.02 seconds.
