Why call on Jesus? "Either he is who he said he is, or he's a liar...." or, a third possibility...call upon him as being the "anointed one of God" aka the Christ...and that the other major religious figures are also anointed of God...that they all see themselves as the same as the other prophets...not in time and name, but in source, authority, purpose, and power. The third possibilty being that they are all God made manifest on Earth. Jesus, Mohammed, Baha'u'llah, all indicated this.

Let me first ask you if those accusations come from a first hand reading of the Quran...I'm a Baha'i who has read the writings of all three that I listed. Baha'u'llah unquestionably confirmed both Jesus and Mohammed. Jesus stated that anyone who preached in His name was not an enemy of His. Mohammed definately placed Jesus as a prophet of God, along with Moses and Himself.

@thermionic1234567 (part 2) Mohammed stated that of all the existing religions Christianity was the closest to Islam. He did disagree with doctrine of the trinity, which was added to the "Appostle's Creed" roughly a century after the crucifiction...but He never stated that Jesus was not a prophet. What people later do in the name of a religion doesn't bear on the founder of that religion. Things were done both in the name of Chrstianity, and Islam, that were shameful. No prophet did it.

Perhaps the bible is wrong, and that common sense is right. GOD IS, why would you need more? It only complicates a very simple plan : God, and His Creation. Carlton Pearson found that there is no belief needed to be 'saved'.

If you think Carlton Pearson is smarter & knows more that God Almighty, Jesus Christ, then go ahead and believe him. Why would Bart Ehrman, a fundamentalist Christian when starting bible school, came out the other end convinced that the bible was only the word of Man, not the word of God? Because the reality did not match up to the claims. The bible is full of error and contradiction. Hopefully, your spiritual understanding will someday rise above the level of this book, and you will have new revelation yourself..

He very well be in the following group: "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in you name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them: Depart from me, I NEVER knew you." Matthew 25:22-23 He's part of the "apostasy". I hope you aren't one of the people in 2Timothy 4:3-5. Frogstomp12 - I had the very (as best as I remember, it was nearly 25 years ago) same experience. I would use the exact descriptions. I felt and overwhelming sense of love. I was praying to God to reveal himself to me, and He did. I've have never had the experience repeated. And I now and very open to people's stories of mystical experiences with God

i am a doctor from pakistan and i had 79 cases of near death they all past away about 1 to 2 min tops they all saw the same thing they all saw angels take them up to heaven they saw the streets of gold and the open gates of heaven and they Saw JESUS with his arms open and he said iam Jesus your LORD and showd them his hands they had holes in them and they all came back to life and they all converted to JESUS and i did too.

I had this cross and put it around my neck for the first time, lying down in bed to rest. As soon as I did my body became completely paralyzed from my head to my toes. I could not move any more. I didn't have time to panic because this warm, tingling sensation flooded my whole body. It was about 30 seconds of the most overwhelming feeling of calm and total peace I had ever felt, the best feeling in the world.

It is known that at the mouth of two or more witnesses (mutually exclusive in this case) the situation or claim is established. Are you an atheist, agnostic etc (or do you believe in a creator)?
