Bunny you are such a charmer and wonderful hooper! I'm sending you big hug! I would love to hear more of your thoughts. I'm a hooper too (1 year now) and I feel on some level it will keep me young. It is very addictive. To PitterPatter100 I don't think anyone is too old to start...it will make you younger..I think any hooper will tell you that! It will also change your life...
Hi all, thank for the responses! Hushpuppy, I actually bought a large one (seeing I am a size 22 and 170cm!) but I can't seem to keep it up! I will just have to keep on trying...and get my daughter to help me.
Are there any classes like this in Brisbane? I would love to learn as I bought a hoop yesterday out of the blue, when I was at the toyshop buying boogie boards for my 2 grand children for Christmas. I thought it would be a fun way to lose weight, but so far I can't even keep it up for 1 circle! So i'm doing some research oln the net and wow! what a wealth of info...even instruction! BUT...Am I too old? Too fat? to learn? Any advice?
PitterPatter, you've probably gotten tiny light child-size hoops--you will have a much easier time with the heavier adult-size hoops, which you can order online from websites BodyHoops, HoopGirl, or HoopRevolution, which you probably found in your search. Start with a large hoop, which will go around slowly and leave you plenty of reaction time. Good luck--Hoop it up!
oops--looks like you can order a hoop from Bunny Hoop Star right there in Australia! That's prob the easiest and least expensive thing--I commented before I started the vid! Apologies.
so inspiring!
