or maybe he pre-recorded the audio of himself playing and then "faked" the video. some people on youtube make their videos that way.

Nonetheless, your supposed to use the tremolo bar to do that vibrato.

@benjacobson1992, lol thats not a wammy/tremelo dude, thats a slight pinch harmonic/ string bend (creating said noise) trust me it way sound like the tremelo bar but if you listen closely, the pitch went up instead of down, and that wierd motion he made with his hand wasnt him pretending to move the wammy bar, it was him doing a satriani style pich harmonic, although i can totally see how it sort of looked fake if you thought of it that way.
