I keep on hearing "6 hours" from these guys for several ("several" as in 6 or 7 I guess??) months. 4 hours spent for the fitness and physique and 2 hours for learning how to fight like a spartan. Is that about right? Because I also hear this stuff like "12 hours a day" and/or "8 to 10 weeks." Aside from Shaolin Monks, Mas Oyama, military, etc., I can't think of anyone who would train for 12 hours a day. Is it more like 4-6 hrs daily? Please comment!

@KermitTheDave Yes, I don't think there was a CG element, but they did accentuate the muscle definition on all the actors, using old fashioned make-up, I believe. Just a little contouring really makes the muscle lines pop on camera, just like rouge brings out a woman's cheekbones.

He says he never looked like that before and wont ever look like that again; too much work to keep it up.
