But, classified or not, DIA exists for the sole purpose of supplying military intelligence to the U.S. Department of Defense. Other agencies exist to gather intelligence on non-military issues, like the CIA and NSA, hence my comment.

This was made because even government agencies need to let people know they exist. If people didn't know about the agency, they wouldn't get applicants and decision makers in Washington not familiar with the defense industry might question why this agency gets the funds they do. Even military / intelligence agencies need marketing.

actually what you dont know is they werent really looking for the weapons...just the centrifuge used to enrich uranium...and the whole system was mobile...trust me..the media didnt really cover that one...they had an agenda..there were weapons there, but magically iran started a nuclear program after we kicked the shit out of saddam
