@hydraz06 hey. stencils are cool and all, for some work, but you really dont want to stencil too much or else your work will not look as good. I'm sure you could in all honesty come up with most of these stencils yourself and just cut them out with a razor blade. You want to rely on your own artistic ability, and freehand ability or else your artwork will always look stencilly. Give yourself some credit man. Im sure you could come up with your own camo or skulls. that keeps yours unique as well

Not to be a nit picking bastard but a mix of white, black and or gray is refered to as "street" because it's intended to be a collage of white siding and white street markers as well as the black of the streets and gray of the walks. While a mix of black & grey is "urban". Urban exploits the shadows because black & gray are dark colors. It's like woodland verus Olive drab.

Painting a console isn't too hard, but you have to remove the case first unless you want to completely destroy your console. If you can disassemble it, you can probably do it yourself.

Ebay, you can get a pasche or badger fairly cheap... Or get a used one for less than $50... MAKE CERTAIN that you get a "internal mix"... External mix guns are not what you want...

Hit Amazon and get a used book on airbrush techniques. look at the guns they use and you'll see what you need for what you want to do...

Stencils! Seriously! Is this what our art has come down to? What happened to true artists using skill of hand and masking film to create true works of art? I could give a monkey a stencil and an airbrush and get a similar product to this. Try something original!

Can we beat a dead horse anymore? Yes, for someone with no skill, this is the easy way. I agree. But for someone like myself, who has been airbrushing for 20 years, freehand is the easiest way. Enough of the comments. I get that you are all trying to take the easy way out instead of learning an art form.

Yes, freehand is with no stencils. Watch Mike Lavalle paint his famous flames and you will see freehand airbrushing. As far as your question, it depends on what you are painting on.  If you are serious about getting into the art of airbrushing I would recommend taking classes at your local art or craft store.

well i airbrush using waterbased car paint and it drys just about as fast as you put it on. with the air blowing on it, it also speeds up the drying process.

maybe he does edit it but i wouldn't see why but then again i have not used auto-air paint so ill leave it up 2 u to decide.

make sure that you use real gun paint that you must bake on and not spray paint. your original finish must come off first. i painted one of my ak's desert camo. i am painting my custom mosin nagant sporter a real tree type pattern. i also painted a 1911 that i built from parts with a coyote brown frame and an od green slide. the look fetched me extra money when i had to sell it. in each case they all came out looking like gunsmith work.
