  • Bait and Switch from Pussycat. Classic.

  • Craig: "What went wrong?!"

Rex: "Well, we went in the pit again!!"

Hahaha! you're the life of Robot Wars Rex XD

  • If only Cassius 2 didn't drive into the pit it may have reached the final of this series!

  • Cassius? Cassius? CASSIUUUUUUUUUUS!

  • These walker battles aren't exaclty exciting, but they are good for a laugh.

  • These walker battles are pretty boring. Too slow.

NOOOOO!!!! Casius II went out. Mick Cutter is an even worse driver than Rex.

  • walker robot battles r borin as fuck

  • poor cassius, but rex is so gracious in defeat, still alughing and joking :) great sportsmanship there

  • @ 5:56 this is antweight robot wars talk started

  • @ 1:17 or maybe not

  • Rex's last battle was a good one, cos it was against the legendary roboteer that is David Gribble!

  • and this is rex's lost appearance *cries* he was one of the most talented robot makers ever

  • I love the walker battles. Not cause they're so suspenseful (sarcasm) but because right when they meet, they get torn apart by the House Robots XD

  • I wonder who would have won out of Cassius 2 and the series 3 version of Firestorm.

  • Honestly? I don't think Cassius would have beaten Scutter's Revenge even if they'd beaten Pussycat.

Look at the difference in ground clearance, Cassius would never get under it.

  • If Cassius had fallen in the pit backwards and flipped themselves out again, just think how different robotwars would have been as far as the pit is concerned.

  • Why didn't Cassius come back in series 4?

  • @Gavin17259 Rex left because the safety in the pits wasn't good enough. a robot went out of control during the third wars.

  • Cool, the first mammoth walker.

  • why did they bother with the walkers....

  • @ 1:14 it's a sprint finish... or maybe not

  • Did we just see the first antweight at around 6:00?

  • @Omnigeek6 Yes we did.

  • I was SOOOO gutted when Cassius drove into the pit!!! Cassius could of been the champions easy. And even more upset they lost to pussycat! :( Cassius 2 VS Chaos 2 that would be EPIC!

  • @SafeAzFuck Thanks for alerting me. Ever heard of a *Spoiler alert*?

  • I was gutted as a kid when Cassius 2 went out. Especially after I saw Cassius self right the series before, that was my favourite ever robot.

  • bash: tisk tisk tisk XD heh should have thought twice b4 makin something like that n callin it mamoth XD .

  • Gosh, these Series 3 walker battles were so dull.

  • @KeenyFox

    what were they thinkingz????

    i mean a sumo a tug of war...heck even a joust would be better....sorry A LOT better

  • You know in all of Robot Wars history I don't think anyone ever made the painfully obvious "this pussycat always lands on it's feet" comment. It just always seemed like a Jonothan Pearce thing to do but he never did.

  • @Fireworkatheart They did, during Pussycat's introduction in Series 4

  • such a shame this was the last we ever saw of Rex and Cassius, they went out on such a downer as well. great sportmanship team, though

  • @tourdeforce17 yeah definitely. I wonder why they didn't come back for the forth wars?

  • @danielfennessey He protested about lack of safety precautions after a few accidents in the pits during seasons 2 and 3, hence why he chose not to return.

  • I just realised watching the fight Pussycat narrowly avoided the pit; you see it bump upwards when the wheel went across the corner of the pit, while dodging Cassius II.

  • Such a shame for Cassius II; and we'll never ever know how they would have done. We also won't see more of it's abilities; only saw that deadly spike once too. Would've loved to see it self-right; it would've been different as it's more powerful.

  • @ 6.00 I bet shunt can push these bots all day.

  • I only have to Wonder How Mick Cutter Reacted when he not only realized he drove into the pit, but also that he left a team that would be UK Champions...twice.

  • @ 5.19 shake hands for good sportsmanship.

  • I so wish they'd release this series for purchase in the US.

  • You can't buy any Robotwars in Europe either. I think they released 5 DVDs. 4 specials on Chaos 2, Hypnodisc, Razer and the Houserobots. The fifth was The First World Championship. Not likely to be released either.

  • @BBCRobotwarsUK The American ones are worth watching too, I remember having a 2 vhs box of the first championships (UK) and the American equivalent, both were stunning to watch and a fair few american machines came to the UK during Robotwars' time :) Good thing is that the sport still lives on, it just isn't televised.

  • @BBCRobotwarsUK I have the First World Championship on DVD, found it in a charity shop for £5 :D

  • @chugirl25 i have it too. Got it from amazon ages ago
