One, last year you also though Venus' question was too hard, too personal, etc. Two, The judges also thought that her answer was intolerant and selfish (no win). Good English do not qualify or guarantee a victory, but bad English can sink your chances to win, thus the other 4 were smart to answer in their native language. And even if Miss Universe do speak English, she will need an interpreter on the occasions when she meet people who don't speak English.

If she respects the religion of her man then she too should accept his religion because it's his own beliefs and principles too, and therefore she should not let her man change his religion for the sake of the relationship because a relationship is never a one-way thing. If his man changes his religion out of his own volition/choice and not because shamcey insists or made him then that's fine. Acceptance does not immediately equate to changing religions.

I'm sorry but I disagree. If she respects the religion of her man then she too should accept his religion because it's his own beliefs and principles too, and therefore she should not let her man change his religion for the sake of the relationship because a relationship is never a one-way thing. If his man changes his religion out of his own volition/choice and not because shamcey insists or made him then that's fine. Acceptance does not immediately equate to changing religions.

Miss Philippines did a great job, at least she topped 5. I admire her for telling people in her TV interview that Angola deserves to win. I guess, she can't have it all. She's been a top notcher since grade school and a Magna Cum Laude in University of the Philippines. In fact, she RANKED 1 in the recent Philiipine Architecture Board Exam....wow an architect in a bikini and stilettos!..=)
