After watching Justin Bieber sing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on the Today Show I immediately searched for the Perry Como version. Therapeutic. I don't know if I could have made it through the night if I had failed to find it. Though Perry Como ameliorated my condition after the injury, I must avoid all Christmas music by Bieber for a complete recovery, and continue searching for Perry Como's Christmas hits for the rest of the holiday season, or I'm going to be Ebenezer Scrooge of 2011.

Thanks so much for posting this. . .conjures memories of my Mom baking Christmas cookies 'til 3a.m. while playing her Perry Como and Bing Crosby and Sinatra albums over and over. Sweet! Anybody remember Jackie Gleason's Christmas recordings with his orchestra?
This takes me back to when I was a small boy, 6 or 7 years old. My father had this 45 RPM record and I use to play it over and over. Thanks for posting it. This really brought back some wonderful memories.
Thanks for the comment, staffordrh2. Same thing for me. My parents had this 45 RPM record, and I also would play it over and over. That's where this recoding is from, the original 45. You can hear all the pops and crackles due to many repeated playings on an old portable record player we had.

The song was re-recorded later, but this version, the original, was featured on the 2001 release, "A Perry Como Christmas"
