I've been playing bass for 30 years. I strung both my P bass and J bass with DR sunbeams and highbeams. Personally no string i have ever used, went dead faster and sounded like crap faster than Dr strings !
cool. Hey i have a question, do strings affect the sound of your bass to a noticeable extent? Its just that recently ive really been wanting to get a better sound out of my bass. I tried looking at pickups, but i didnt really wanna spend THAT much. So now im looking to change my strings instead.
Look, it's cool to know what basses you play and stuff, but when the only video you've posted in a year (not to mention a failed website) and all your recent videos demonstrate advertisement, it makes you look like a sellout. But hey, if there was one fan of your out there, it was me. You were a HUGE inspiration on my playing, but now all I see is the "I use this and this..."
in the background is it a prs bass ?
