This play works best with Artaud influence. It makes it much more insulting which aids you in successfully addressing the social themes of Ubu roi/ King Ubu.
Buut if there was a specific reason you went for the cheesier side of things then it looks like it has worked well...
Shit trailer, mate. If this is supposed to be a play with social commentary and disturbing themes, why play up the cheesy slapstick? Makes it look like a kid's show.
