  • Too far gone!

  • The name of the first song is "I Think Of You" by Rudy Grayzell. It was recorded in 1957 at Sam Phillips Sun Records Studio in Memphis, Tenn ----- Elivis Presley's first record label.

  • 1:50 what the hell, beautiful Mustang. Now i'm crying, every photo in this vidio is sad, but Mustang and Bel Air are one of my favourite cars.

  • :'(

  • need a second chance for reall :(

  • i grew up in the 60s and always loved these american classics so i purchased a 1955 olds super 88 2 years ago and love it, i plan to keep it till the end of my days!

  • bet you have to watch out for the spiders n snakes when your'e goin round these yards !

  • What is the name of the first song

  • This makes me think of the film Christine, awesome flick !!!

  • Love The Music As Well

  • I could spend hours in a place like this. Ever since I was a little kid (I'm 56 now) I've always had this strange fascination with junk cars and to this day I don't know why. I saw one possibly two Packards in there. When in Dayton (OH) be sure to visit the Packard museum.

  • @57Sky There several Packards in the video including both 1955 and 1956 Patricians as well as more than one 1955/56 400 hardtops. There were also 1955 and 1956 Clippers shown from the rear. The preview photo for the video is 55 Patrician. The bodies appear to be solid. Those cars should be restored.

  • @drebben Thanks for sharing that. Like I said earlier, if you ever plan to visit Dayton (OH) please head downtown and visit the Packard museum. $6.00 admission, unless you're over 55 like I am, then it's only $5.00

You'll think you went to heaven. It's right across the street from where my daughter goes to high school. Thanks again for everything.

  • True enough ublk949t even if you did'nt think a particular model back then was attractive you have to say there were all still unique.

  • Great Video, Great Music!

  • its weird most r caddys

  • 1:27 you can make that car better just what paint a viper moter inside new headlits and inriour

  • Vart ligger den där skrotgårn'?

  • 1:51 and then i cryd lol

  • IN 0:55 you need to be an asshole to throw away a charger

  • älska sverige! (Y)

  • you know they should make it mandatory that the interior is sold or striped before they sell the windshields out of cars! once those are out, the insides get water damage, and rot! Cars were Art in those days!

  • where is this! These cars need to be saved.

  • Its too bad people let classics like these just rust away. Someone needs to save them before they are just scap metal.

  • Oh, is that a Chevy Nomad at 4:16?

Would like to restore some of them in Germany.

    But is'nt possible, damn!

  • Oh... Is it a Nomad at 4:16?

They're waiting to get back on the road...!

  • @xSimonsaysx they would be back on the road if restoration didnt cost 3 years salary or more! can you Imagine? the labor to reaphoster? and fix rotted undercarrages? Any time u go to a hospital or a machanic, ur going to get gouged on every detail!!!

  • @Dreambro1 I'm with you all the way on that one.

  • Oh my Jewels! Where's the Location if I may ask??

  • inte mycke ja inte känner igen. jimmy halmstad

  • some nice big cars and all look like they could be restored some might be for parts only but good parts for other cars

  • Excellent pictures there!!

  • Some of those cars really are beautiful. The design of a man, and not a design of airflow machines

  • me and my friend go to lockeport, NS all the time to see these cars hopefully we can get one out sometime...

  • Id love to have one of these cars in there current conditions and restore it to its former glory.. Love the old cars.. Anyone in the US *near PA* know of any laying around? :O

  • c'est triste de les voires dans cette état

  • I have heard the first words of Yonder goes a sucker every since I can remember. this was the first time I can remember hearing the whole song played. Thank you.

  • All my fucking life sigthing for one of those road jewels and I can't have one in this country I was born and I live called Spain due to the unexisting car culture. Everytime I see videos like that, I can't avoid to feel sad and furious. How lucky I am!

  • If Japanese cars are so great, where are all of the 30+ year old Hondas and Toyotas out on Cruise Nights for classic cars? Everybody is welcome to come if they have a car that age but where are they?

  • i agree, no character to car as at all today. all have that areodynamic spaceship design, even the new ford mustangs now lacks individual character in body style.

  • nice cars gonige to rust its sad i wish the new crap box cars rusted like this insted of theaes old buteys

  • wow this made me sad thats kinda bad

  • moment of silence

  • where is this?

  • poor cars... tears on my eyes...

  • are those cars owned by some 1? or are they just left there for some1 to take

  • everytime i see a old car like this i want to restore it ?

  • these poor beauties. we should try to save these classics. there what made america great. someone was once proud to drive them and now look at them. just rusting metal now.

  • the tail lights from the '56 Packard at 2:17 are probably still living but on someone's kustom out there.

  • If this is where I think it is " Starke, FL." I think i'm gonna have to pay it a visit. The 57 wagon's enough reason for me.

  • wat car at 1:46

  • @psyco445 I think a 1960 Lincoln Premier

  • wats the first song

  • nice ones!

  • what a damn shame

  • poor stang

  • old cars is cooler why does they not sell anymore longer?

  • I really like those old '55 and '56 Packards. There was at least two Clippers, a '55 and '56. Also, one Senior 56 Packard as well.

  • bad to see cars go to waste

  • where are these cars at? like what state, county, town?

  • @sniperviper1000

It's just a car? Haha you ride the bike every day for sure. You have cars, but also beautiful autos

  • I wish that all the Asian trash cars would be on that junkjard instead of those great design US cars....

  • @MrHollywood2669 ok seriously enogh with the car battles. How the fuck cares who made what! It's a car!

  • Somebody's got a thing for Cadillacs! =)

  • What a buncha junk! lol

  • i love the one at 0:32!

  • bring those cars in my garage i restore it one by one

  • some lovely lookin land yachts there!

  • You can't save them all darn it. I love old cars. The LeMay classic car museum in Tacoma Wa. has over 2000 to look at. Come and see for your self.

  • oh no FORT MUSTANG Shellby 600

  • sad =( save those cars

  • Nice old cars....Thanks

  • Great old cars. Several could be rescued. Looks like the videotaper has a thing for Cadillacs.

  • just think of what these cars seen in they're day one of the greatest times in American history some of them probably cruised Vegas in they're day and where are they now? rotting away in a field. saddens me

  • Y cant it be the 1950's. it was so great and SO SO much beter than to day .if i had one of cars it would be on the rowd for 100 yers

  • Comment removed

  • thoes arent junkyard cars there in good shape if i could talk with the land owner into having me take all of them out( theyd think im scraping them) and completley restore them id be there right now with like 20 wreckers

  • makes me sick........

  • fuckin cheat just can't beleive ..why people do that ..if i had one of these cars it would be rocking right now

  • 1:20 what a perfect picture... cars in the middle of the afternoon just barely peering out of the darkness

  • what is the car at 1:47 ?

  • thats a lincoln59 or 1960

  • the car at 1:47 is a 1958 Lincoln

  • Cars from the 70's and before, where the best cars made. New cars have nothin on these classics.

  • To bad cars today have no character or soul

  • i agree with you

  • @ublk94gt I agree,, cars nowadays are strictly for transportation. years ago, a person bought a car for style,, now people buy for gas mileage! Basically Ipods on wheels with cheap injected molded plastic interior and blown in felt, in a plastic ,no character case! Cheap headlights too! Cars nowadays reek cheap!

  • @ublk94gt FORD MUSTANG FORD GT

  • @ublk94gt Ain't that the truth.

  • @ublk94gt cars today are safer, but I do admit !

  • hey man are they's cars for sale where can i find them those are some freaken nice rides thanks buddy please respond

  • imagine todays cars will be out like that

  • ya but there is barely any metal on the new ones so they wont look like that

  • what a shame , these cars have heart and soles , if i had the money i would buy all these cars and get them restord , not just these but all over america , the problem is that a scrap dealer will see these cars and buy the lot and crush them , i dont care about new cars they all look like fucking washing machines

  • @1:23 that lincoln looks very restoreable theres not even much rust!!!!!

  • This is why i am glad that i am 15, and i have 2 classic cars that were given to me. ( NO JOKE ). A 1974 Mercury Montego MX, and a 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark 4. that both need restoration. and im gonna bring em back to their original setups.

  • At :50 there is a nice '59 caddy I would love to get my hands on all of them are nice, SAD to see them just rotting away

  • The saddest thing in the world besides child abuse and animal neglect are amazing cars, rusting away, slowly, no one to save them due to space, or money. :(

  • Wish I could own one of those cars.

  • I don't understand how someone abandons these cars in the perfect shape they are in. Did the owners die or something? and the garage was never looked in again?

  • Vackraste skrotbilarna på you tube !

Jag önskar det fanns en skrot som den här i min kommun !

  • wats the name of this song?and i really feel sorry bout da cars itz a shame dey gotta sit here and rust...R.I.P to all the legends...

  • At 1:23 there is a Mercury Monterey from the early 60s. That brought back some good memories. I had a 1967 Mercury Monterey in high school the same color. It was a great car.

  • It's a 1964 Monterey Breezway Sedan. Rear window rolled down, a Mercury/Lincoln exclusive in that era.

  • Yup, mine had that feature though the rear window only rolled down about 6 inches, but that did improve airflow in car.

  • I'm glad some dip-shit at youtube has'nt disabled the audio track on this video

  • @jbta54 give them time, they likely will.

  • @jbta54

ditto, anybody know who sings it?

  • half of them lookin half decent shape

  • me and my friends keep going in the woods near their house and finding more and more parts to a cobra in cluding the half complete engine fenders and other small parts

  • Post a video then.

  • My Uncle is a car collector,he has a 1948 tucker Torpedo and a 1957 Cadillac Deluxe Coupe DeVille.

  • good video i wish i could save them all

  • I love looking at car grave yards. I always try to imagine what was the history of the cars and wy there there right now :)

  • Very nicely done video. Great tunes. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very tasteful tribute. Those machines were capable of much more than growing iron oxide after 90 thousand; they are cherished heirlooms in Cuba with hundreds on the clock.

  • such a shame. whats the first song.

  • You just can watch this video once, you have to go back and look at every car there, after one car slide goes you immediatly think of what car it was, and by the time you figure out what car it is, you watched it 50 times, any way great video. Who does the first song, i know the second one is jim reeves yonder comes a suck. Any way great video

  • its a sight aintit, all my life I've seen itand it never fails to make me wanna go get em all and restore them all

  • what is it were trying to restore? is it the cars? or the lost vision and innocense of a culture and the singular effort of a country. . . those were brand new once. . . as were we.

  • There's A 1960 Chrysler Imperial In My Neighborhood Sitting In A Man's Yard Which Looks As Though Its Been There 40 Years,I've Asked Many Times If He Wanted To Sell It,He Always Says Im Going To Fix It Up Soon,In The Meantime She's Rotting Away,When I Could Have Already Had Her Road Ready,Such A Shame

  • Sure some can be fixed, but once they been sitting in long wet grass, it doesn't take long for the bottom end, to rot away. Pretty much done at that point. If a fella was real good at welding, u could make up floor pans, and frame rails, etc. Even better if u got a full frame to work with.

  • Most of those cars can be fixed.

  • Too bad these old cars can't talk, coz if they could, I bet they would tell great stories, of their past. All we can do now, is appreciate what fine cars they were in their prime, now they are rusting away peacefully.....thx to all that post good vids of old and forgotten automobiles. CHEERS!!!

  • fyfan va fint =)

    Rebel Cruisers i Habo

  • i would kill 2 have sum of those cars, even though there not in all that great condition

  • Its so hard seeing all these old classic cars just sitting to rot or be crushed.

  • If i were president i would make an order for all these cars to be restored.

  • at 0.50 it broke my heart

  • verry sad

  • a rather have one of these then a toyota prius

  • same here

  • What a sad story,all these beauties

  • there are two very old junkyards still in oregon with 15minutes of me there used to be several in longview but there going to newer ricer crap cars

  • First Gen. '55-'57 Thunderbird at 2:54!!!

  • At 3:01, you can see the rear of Christine. Elvis Caddy at 3:51!!!

  • the American builders can restore its self to its once clean state & wash any filth, river mush or

un-holey entity to its former glory.

& again live in a state free of desecration or corrosion....

& develope a city , business, or product that it can keep, sell and cherish forever

  • nooooooo.... que lastima estos autos....... es un pecado... piezas de coleccion... amo esos coches... en verdad una verdadera pena.. saludos

  • who own all the cars?

  • What a shame that a bunch of old Iron is just being reclaimed by the earth and the old necks that own them think their still worth money LOL

  • Can anyone please tell me what that car is in the foreground and to the right of that Buick I just mentioned? It almost looks the the back end of a Tucker, but I find that hard to believe.

  • sorry man, not enough of it to give ya a positive ID...

  • I don't know what's behind the 1954 Buick, that, by the way is a Roadmaster, The four," portholes" were only used on Roadmasters,in '54. but, the car in the foreground, this is an educated guess, could be a 1951-3 Kaiser Traveler. I am going by the piece of metal sticking out past the bumper They had a two piece tailgate. The top part went up like a hatchback. The bottom came down like a tailgate. That bottom tailgate is what I think I see.. I gave it a shot!!!!! Anyone else got a guess?

  • That '53 or '54 Buick @4:07 has me drooling!

  • id take em all

  • Part of the fun of getting old cars like this on the road is breathing new life into a car that was otherwise dead. It's interesting cruising around in an old classic and wondering who sat there before you..

  • Damn why let these beauy's stand like this they are waiting for nothing how about restore them! You coude make millions with those car wrecks!

  • Indeed - the stories these cars could tell! A wonderful set of photos - I wish someone had something similar for here in the UK.

  • dont abandon youre cars like this

  • man i would love to have a couple of the 55 caddy's in the start of this vid

  • as if it wasnt heartbreaking enough they killed my favorite 1957 chevy belair at 1:02.

  • dont crushed them you crazy their beautiful pieces of american history i absoluty love these kinds of cars.

  • jackass....i'm italian...my dreams is the word "MOPAR".

all these beauties...at the crusher.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!FUCKING IDIOT!

  • some of those are savable classics of considerable value

  • i want a 63 impala 4 dr.

if you know of one that is orginal & cheap lol send me line.

  • I love this song I cant stop thinking of it. before I wake I'm singing it. I enjoy the pain I feel when I hear it thank you

  • boy if these old boys could talk imagine the stories they could tell...

  • you can buy parts just like this in st louis mo bigger junkyard then this with antique cars trucks pics here bonanzle . come can ship too

  • is all of this on a owners property

  • this place is in florida

  • i wonder if there haunted?!

  • men look at this poor cars in the palms. How long they must stand there before there are grown over like this?

And why there are so many cars leaved alone?

Here in germany a lot of cars go for Africa or Russia if not a freetime-mechanik works on them.

  • 2:06 to 2:22 all beautiful packards. what a damn shame! where are those cars located do you know?

  • At 1:01 A '57 Chevy and a '57 Chevy wagon at 4:18 I hate to see any cars setting but REALLY hate to see a Trifive rotting away!

  • COOL

  • my dad has a 59 caddy which im glad to say is in much better shape then these poor caddys but ours is currently of the road and has been for about 16 years due to a seized engine. sadly i have never been in the car when it has moved under its own power maybe some day i will be able to get the long awaited ride in what i think a cool car.

  • nice

  • I want the car at 3:22

  • I aaaaagggrrrreeeeee!!!!I want all this beauty car.... I always dream about old american car... :((( but my dreams never come true....:(( ssoorryy for my English ;/
