As you said they have decamped to the newsroom....but I believe this was after the fire. The moved back with no new set or graphics. I'd like to know where you getting you information from cause your source is wrong.
Number 1, this was after the fire, as the fire was in May, and they returned in mid-June. In mid August, they went back to the newsroom, and I was told that they were getting new graphics and a set, which is obviously wrong. I was told by someone who "worked" at WABC, like you "work" at WMAQ.

I was hoping that WABC would get new HD graphics... and the "Eyewitness News - New Generation V.1" theme music... similar to that of sister station KABC. A newer HD news set as well.
I don't particularly like WABC's current news graphics... the name-bar graphics especially.
It's because they don't really need to overdrive their graphics.They are just trying to be a simple,local newscast without giving people overhauled graphics or music.You have to understand there are people out there who are not watching for the graphics & music,but something else.
I was saying that since CBS 2 & NBC 4 went HD with new graphics, ABC 7 only changed their opens not the rest of their graphics, thats why I said they just wanted to go HD for fun.

It has to be after the fire because Ken Rasato wasnt named the replacment anchor for Steve Bartelstien until AFTER the fire
