4. Basically, there was a party going on. I don't think there was a special occasion. It was the way life was. Everyday. People were getting things done and having a party all at once. There was even a party at the place I was suppose to be going to fix this whatever it was that I was suppose to fix. I couldn't wait to go.
Then I was in this park. Think Union Square and Hyde rolled into one. There were rows of chairs and tables with more food on it and a podium... (continued)
5. An award ceremony. I sat down. As I sat, I was told I was up for the "most loving member of the community" award. What community. I think the gay one. I'm not sure. It was just "the community." So I see a figure of someone I care for very much across the street from the park. He was walking a dog. I got up and I didn't care if I won or not because I was so happy that I spotted him. I hadn't seen him in so long and rarely does he come into my dreams... (continued)
6. I ran outside the park so he would notice me but he kept walking by. I couldn't say anything or do anything for some reason. He just didn't notice me. Not that I felt or thought this in the dream, but I deserved that award.
I was happy. I felt love. It was as if the sky were inside my body. I began to pedal my legs and float. Just when I think people will notice that I can do this, nobody seems to care. So I ground myself again.... (continued)
@BiSensual You should read all of her novels, she is Leo Tolstoy , Confucius, Aristotle etc . but our generation is lucky she's alive ... Her works will be remembered by generations to come, legacy that will always stay, legacy , history, grace...
She has a great mind. No need to read a million books of fiction. Non fiction is much more interesting. We can't count on there being "generations to come" at least in the U.S. Toni would be probably agree. I believe that most of the people and things we consider so important won't be remembered by the world in the not too distant future.
1. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He had a dream. It was nice. But I had a dream, too.
I had a dream where black people were no longer wasting their time fighting for equal slave status as the general white population.
Wait. I was kidding. Sorta.
I actually had a dream. Sometime last Spring. I wanted to write about it for some time and I thought today would be the perfect day to jot it down... (continued)
2. Ok. I had a dream. I dreamt this while I was sleeping. Not as in I had a wish or a hope. It was a real place, at least while I was having it, and you and you and you... and YOU were there! It was a really real place. Ok? You get the idea.
So I'm somewhere mid-town Manhattan and the sky was entirely illuminated by soft sunlight. A bit hot and humid but it didn't matter... (continued)
3. There were these huge foldout tables and a lot of older people sitting around them. There was food. Plenty of it. Mostly family members, a few who passed away in recent years and strangers, who were no stranger than my family if that makes any sense and they just sat around, yapping away.
Me? I wasn't sitting there but I was running around. I was to meet my father and a few other people in some small room somewhere to go to some apartment and fix something... (continued)
Johann Friedrich Blumenbach created the classes of race. Google him.

7. I continue to walk. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go. No one knows I'm alive. The dream fizzles out and I wake up.
It was quite a vivid dream. I close my eyes, relax and I can still see and feel that dream.
That's why I wrote it here after almost a year. Have a good day.
...
I posted this for Toni Morrison (follow the numbers).
Thank you for all your wisdom and guidance. I admit it, I only ever read Beloved. I'm still not over that one and don't think I ever will be. xo
