There is no way you can make a game like this with Games Factory 1. I tried to make a Contra game with it and animation would stick and a whole host of other gay problems. This was probably made with Games Factory 2 or Multi Media Fusion 2.

It's easily possible to make a game like this in TGF1. And it will be, because he hasn't used Paralaxes.

The gay problems you are talking about are probably because you used the built in engines rather than custom static ones. The difference between TGF1 and MMF2 aren't as great as you may think.

But, in favor of all that's good, REPLACE THE SPRITES SETS. Tails' jump looks awful and so do all of Sonic's sprites seen here.

Sonic games without 360 degree movement engines never play right, but I don't blame you as I still don't understand how to make hem myself. The level design could use some work, if you made them yourself, I would recomend looking for someone who really knows Sonic levels, and see if they can't give you a hand with it.

I can not give a release date as then I'd have to rush to meet the dead line and in my current situation I have to focus more on homework. As to how we make these games, some of us use Click Team products like The Games Factory (used for this game), some use Game maker, and others use other programming programs like C++ or Basic.
