@orioles2009wschamps I don't think Hanks is an O's fan. What I do remeber is when he turned 50, he spent that summer going to all the MLB ballparks as a gift from his wife. I beleive Rob Reiner went with him.

The weird thing about this is I've actually heard that Tom Hanks is an Oakland A's fan, still it was nice of him to do an O's cheer!

That was cool of Tom Hanks to do that but he was only an O's fan for that night. That year, he toured the ballparks around the nation with director Ron Howard who was actually in the same box with him that night. I was in a box near him and got a clip of the same thing on my cell phone. The quality wasn't good though.

Thats really awesome that you got to see him. I'm glad he was excited about the orioles. Every person i know were I live, either love the yankees or redsox.

Thanks...yes, we saw him up in the box and I started to record on my digi camera. He was there with Ron Howard and Dennis Miller.
