* if you want a simple wheel without wires everywhere

* where you want kids to be able to use it too

* if you have a small apt./flat with no where to store it or having to find some sorta table

Use it with Gran Turismo 5 and you'll be smiling - it's better than I anticipated!

The only thing you need to calibrate in GT5, is to go lock to lock at the very beginning of races when you switch cars, while the CPU still has control. NO issues with GT5. And by GT5, he must mean Prologue because this review is way before GT5 came out in late 2010.

For the price I got it at (£29, brand new) and that I'm not a die hard racing gamer it's great value for money. If I were to become more involved I would trade up to the likes of a Driving Force GT.

I just purchased this wheel, but returned it after only 2 weeks.  It's way too small a wheel for me, and most important i couldn't get consistent at all because it was always flying around on my lap. when considering a wheel, it's really gotta be bolted down or as i experienced, you really have almost no feel when racing!

That's quite a big difference, especially if you're not a hardcore driving gamer. Also it's more practical. I was nearly going to get a DFGT but I'd need to buy a table as well and I didn't want to have to move the whole setup in an out of the room when I was done with it.

In an ideal world, of course, I'd want the DFGT. But I'm no driving sim gamer, not yet anyway, so it's just not worth it for me.

To godale44, I have drive FX, my first broke and Logi said they had discontinued the FX and would have to have a refund, However I went on how desperate id prefer the wheel and is their no way, In 2 days time a brand new FX at my door. This was approx 3 month ago, but theres many sites you can still buy them just look in google !!

Im literally shocked that Logitech bring out a wheel that looks so cheap and nasty, Im a die hard sim racer too and also have Logitech DFP and Logitech Drive FX for 360, Ive always stood by Logi and trusted there next wheel would be unreal, this is a huge letdown, DFP and G25 all the way !!!
