Also last year had the least amount of ice cap melting since 1992, but no one knows about that, it's not documented. Because this global warming is a complete lie fabricated to add taxes to people's primary source of electricity.

@BroncoLion well that's the documentary where the lie originated that it was warmer in the middle ages than it is today. and mate go speak to any environmental scientist and guarantee you that it is happening. you want evidence? we know for a fact that increased CO2 in the atmosphere absorbs more infrared radiation as it escapes back out to space. satellites have been measuring it since the 1970s - there are numerous journal articles about it. they all found that it was trapping heat.

Well, if the earth gets warmer the more CO2 we have in the atmosphere, why has the temperature level cooled since 1998 whilst CO2 emissions from humans has risen on the other hand? As for the Medieval warming period I'm sure that it didn't derive from a movie because I've read different stories from many other sources. About 0.28% of 'the greenhouse effect' derives from human activity, if water vapor is taken into account-- about 5.53%, if not. Confirmed by the UN themselves.

@BroncoLion two things: 1998 was the year of a particularly strong el nino, and secondly all that takes into account was LAND temperatures, whereas you you look at the overall temperatures for the land, sea and atmosphere, you'll notice that terrestrial heat is only a tiny % of the overall global temperature. the earth as a whole has still be gathering heat since 1998.

@BroncoLion look up the peer reviewed scientific journal article 'Comparison of spectrally resolved outgoing longwave data between 1970 and present' it uses satellite date from 1970 to 2004 to PROVE that carbon in the atmosphere is preventing heat from leaving the atmosphere. mate speak to any first year chemistry student and they can tell you just from experiments in the laboratory that carbon traps heat.

you do not understand a thing about science at all. do you know what the null hypothesis is? is places the burden of proof on the person making the claim. so for climate change it is assumed that it is not happening unless there is significant evidence otherwise. that is built into ALL the statistical calculations to determine if something is significant. journals are written like that - based on the evidence and reviewed by countless scientists for months who would tear anything false apart

Well then if the only information you can get is from the IPCC then that's not really a source which gathers 'countless scientists'.
Have you heard of John Coleman and his motion to sue Al Gore with well over 30,000 signatures from scientists with signatures from well over 9000 PHD's in climate science.

my point was that coleman is full of shit. he's been claiming for years he has so much scientific support. why hasnt he sued? because he's a liar. its like the creationists who made a big list of 'scientists' who did not accept evolution. it ended up turning out the only biologists who were on that list did not even know they were on it. ive seen the lists that people like coleman come up with - and many of the scientists who had their names put on it asked for it to be removed.

@BroncoLion you want an example of a discredited list? try Richard Littlemore - an environmental scientist who claimed to have a list of 500 Scientists with Documented Doubts of Man-Made Global Warming. it later turned out that at least 45 of the scientists who were said to have coauthored the study did not know about it at all. they asked to have their names removed. richard refused saying that the scientists 'have no right - legally or ethically - to demand that their names be removed'
