What a magical & excellent instrumental from E.L.O's "Eldorado" album this is!I'd love to hear an instrumental of every song on this wonderful & perfect album! The album medley on the remastered album is way too short, because it would've been perfect had Jeff Lynne et al included all of Eldorado's songs.
What has happened is that the bass is in the centre of the mix (possibly recorded in mono) and when the out of phase stereo takes effect it becomes inaudible.
I never heard of this song. Well, I never bought ELO singles when I was a kid....It sounds great. I love these angelic choirs. They lighten me up. Thanks for sharing this one and doing your oops again. It´s so interesting how they build up that wall of sounds, brick by brick. I love that.
Actually the Oops process involves taking away some of these bricks in order to make an instrumental, it's what it leaves behind that makes it interesting to listen to because its not always the vocals that are removed.

I'd be eternally grateful if you could do this for "Boy Blue."
Even if not, thanks for posting this!

I noticed this effect works very well with "Zoom". The problem is the bass is deleted.

You're quite correct!
