Please tell me if this worked for your doggie. My pitbullSamson is 7 years old and is showing early signs of artheritis. I dont want Sammy to be put on Rx pain meds becaused i know they can do a number on the liver and kidneys. If this is the best alterantive please send me some thumbs up on your dogs progress so i can give it a try too :)
I appreciate all kind of advice you can give to help my dog. Even though Lucky hates the water and fights against swimming I won´t give up on it. I´ll do it every day for 30 min and walk him on the sand beach as well. However, I´m afraid it doesn´t work for him and have to go to surgery. I don´t want him to get injured or make things worst, I´m very scared of this situation, it´s so tense.
My mini Pinsher had a broken cruciate ligament 5 days ago, the vet recomended surgery, but a second vet told me to give the dog hidrotherapy, a healthy diet to lose weight and walks on the beach sand for a while to see if the dog responds favorably to this before surgery.Yesterday I started the hidrotherapy, I really hope this could help him. I´m afraid of the surgery, the recovery is hard and delicate, the dog may lose it. Please give some orientation or advice, I really need it. Thanks.
