@liskey17 Just go to the place you found him, check the inn or somthing, find him, tell him to follow you and trade the stuff back, (likely he wont be wearing it but still has it)

lol i have had every compainion as a follower and i put dardric armor on them and they die easy.i got the unbroken girl in whiterun barrerd marl or whatever and put the dadric on her and she sucked and she died.ive gone the whole game without a follower till now cause im lonly when i go around....im 42 so it gets lonly a lot

i did that Grimsever quest and i brought him with me and he got pwnd, then he pulled a shock staff out of his pants he still sucked. But then at the end i use my bow with 61 damage and a ebony arrow to to take out the Dwarven Centurien Master, i damaged the half of its life and then he kills it and kills 2 falmers and then gets pwnd by another falmer, so yeah he sucks... it was luck, i prefer Mjoll the lioness.

@waagemensch you can use them again, i part ways many times depending on the quest mostly, and grab the best follower for the situation, you can even give them items weapons and the like and they will keep the stuff even if they are not following you, its very realistic

Me being a tank type of a warrior find it very helpful to have a mage companion that does range damage instead of another sword&board, but personal preference I guess. My companion is the women from the dawnbreaker sword quest =) she is awesome.

@waagemensch i preffer to have mage companions tell you why, they attack long range, and not get in the way when i am on the caverns and there is little space to move around, fighters may get in the way and not move untill i push them or tell them to move -.- very annoying, so mage companions are the best for me, plus they can carry more stuff since they dont use heavy armor :) plus if mage uses summon and i mage use summon, then you have an army of 4 vs enemies hehehehe

There are a bunch of followers that anyone can use. Just do them a favor, fight them or hire them and they will join up. Followers are nice but they are also a pain. Farkas (a companion) would always charge in when I was sneaking, which turned into a free for all. Farkas dialog is funny. He'll say, "a fight!' "Get em': and my favorite "I'm outta here."

in my game Benor got caught in a massive battle in dawnstar between 2 dragons, a giant, 4 khajiit and the guards of dawnstar, funnily enough he survived the dragons and the giant but it was the khajiit that killed him!

@thestrongholdking j'zargo is more useful in otherways then just his magic skill he has a high heavy armour skill and he is one of the only followers that levels up with the player after level 50 and since marcurio prefers chain lightning (which damages the player) and j'zargo prefers thunderbolt and shock he is less likely to piss you off(j'zargo not marcurio)

The Dark Brotherhood initiate is also a great companion. It's suspected to be a bug, but even when you hit him/her while he's at zero health, he'll never die. So he's really good at tankin' it out against dragons. Other than Shadowmere, of course. :D
