This video shows a walkthrough of Gene Hubert's, The Nice Combination. I can't tell if there is a band or not. Maybe it's recorded music, which is not the tradition of contra dance. The camera is stationary and not at a particularly good angle, such that you can see the caller's feet and the top two foursomes dancing. The pace is kinda slow and I don't find the the music to be particularly inspiring. On the other hand, the dancers are well dressed and graceful. Flute and no fiddle.

YEP! That is Mr Scull! It seems like his speed. The girl is probably dancing with him to get 10 points per line on her government test papers! LOL

It seems that a live band was there. Near the end, you can see the caller signaling the musicians to stop playing (at the 8:22 mark in the video).
