  • I am a student pilot at that airport

  • I have a answer what is the country in you film this video??

  • The video was made in the town of Marion, the state of Iowa in the United States.

  • That is so cool, ive been looking into getting one of those, so what do u need to start, do u need training, and how much?

  • True far 103 ultralights typically start at around $6000 and go up from there, although you can find good used ones starting at around $2,500. Light sport aircraft on the other hand cost significantly more.

  • ıt ıs your's makers.....

  • 1st: Rans S-12 2nd:Rans S-14 i have s-14

  • As kits, they run maybe $15000 to over $30K. True ultralight (FAR 103), no license, but training is strongly advised. For others, Sport Pilot certification...

  • The place was the Marion, Iowa airport (just outside of Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Hwy 151. Every year the weekend before the Fourth of July the airport stages a pilot's fly-in pancake breakfast for the general public. You never know what you will see but the ultralights are generally there.

  • Perhaps someone else can comment on your questions. I was an observer as these planes came by. They are cool to watch.

  • i live in iowa!:D love flying
