it's kinda depressing, the music creates some sad yet beautiful theme, and the picture is just of sonic standing next to his buddy, and they're fading away, like our lost memories of this wonderful game. No one is there anymore to guide them as we move onto newer games, so he stands still ,with his only friend.

I want sega to do a 3d remake of sonic 3 and knuckles, similar to how they made sonic unleashed, but without all the werehog mucking about business. Keep it simple, allow supersonic to be unlocked in game... and no voices! Just let the game play tell the story.

I don't think this could be used in the game, had it been able to, for only ONE thing; it's too long. if you've played the Sonic games, you might know that the music repeats several times per stage. Other wise, heart breaking good qualites and brilliance reside further into this video.
