these cartoons were one of the best i ever remembered from my childhood - they were so weird and for me (i guess i was in 1st grade or smth) they were a continuous curiosity till today.. I can't remember the plot - but i think that the long necked guy was looking for his girlfriend and each time he was running into weird crepy things.. liek some sort of strange planet... the plot was always close to death
In english, I believe it's Spaceship Sagittarius. It also aired in French under the name Les Aventuriers de l'espace. As for the japanese name... it's the title of the video, Uchuusen Sagittarius.

Does anyone, by any chance, know a good site to find pictures and screenshots based on this anime series? I was hoping to make some home-made wallpapers based on it one day.
Jeez, no! lol. But falling in love with characters, no matter which, is not a "bad habit". It's a necessary step in the development of the imagination. You don't think imagination is bad, do you?

Germany. France. I don't know of any more but probably yes.
Loved the show. It combines semi-realistic sci-fi with animal characters which is always a cool thing.

The entire "Uchusen Sagitarius" series can be downloaded (DVD-rip quality). But it's in Japanese.
